BTI PROVIDES THE WIRELESS SOLUTION
Park University (Kansas City, MO)
Guaranteed voice and data services for first responders is critical. In
fact, regulations now mandate that buildings and other facilities ensure
wireless coverage for public safety, yet its challenging to provide se-
cure communications that are always available and interoperable among
various agencies. Upgrades to beneficial new technologies must also be
easy and cost-effective.
Supporting all the common public safety bands, BTI Wireless designs its
Distrbuted Antenna Systems (DAS) to ensure that airports, arenas, and
other buildings have the wireless coverage needed to help first respond-
ers protect citizens during emergencies and disasters.

The mBSC Remote Unit (RU) is a high-power bi-directional amplifier which provides forward and reverse channel
amplification within a single licensed operating band. The RU is frequency band specific and available in downlink
output power levels of 5W. Each RU is packaged as a standalone single-band unit and can be wall-mounted. RU en-
closures are rated for outdoor use without any additional protection (IP65) and supports full instantaneous bandwidth
operation with mixed-mode RF signals.
