AND THE WOUNDS HAVE NEVER HEALED PASSION, INTEGRITY & APNAPAN
Dear All,
It has been a tough week. The weekend started with the horrific report of Ms. Mehreen Ahmed
found unconcsious in the stairs of an appartment building. This was followed by another sad
news of Usman who did not survive a car crash on Tuesday while Tanzeel remains in hospital.
Ms. Mehreen is now joined by her parents from Dubai who are both doctors and are by her side.
They are in prayers all the time and there are regular inquiries about update on Ms. Mehreen by
the community. Thanks to all friends who sent their wishes and offered sympathies at a difficult
time.

And then we saw the images of Manchester attack on young lives. As this incident involved
young ones it truly bring memories of the assault on young kids at Army Public School where
more than 100 lives were lost. It is also important for the reporters and experts like Mr. Andrew
Bolt who are providing commentary on the war between Islam and West that it is not Islamic
teachings to kill innocent lives. These are terrorists who have for whatsoever reasons or
teachings have come to the conclusion that they have the right to kill. If it were Muslims then
all the photographs on the cover photo are of Muslim kids who were also not spared by them.
This is not Islamic teaching in any context.

While the commentary on Islam is going on by non-Muslims, one hopes that they will
acknowledge that if any positive thing has come out of the #Manchester bombing was that it did
not cause any rift between people of Mancehster who stick with each other in the toughest of
times as from taxi drivers to doctors were Muslims who took care of the injured and bereaved
families with utmost love and care as they all belong to the same soil.

LOVE BINDS US ALL
