Nothing ventured...nothing gained, that's true! I won an awesome feeling.

In September this year my friend and I flew to Cuzco for holidays. One thing
she decided to do was an activity similar to bungee jumping, naturally I didn't
want to try it because when I was a child stupidly I fell up from the second floor
of my house, happily I survived because I fell on a table, but since that day I
have fear of heights especially when I am above 120 meters you know what I
mean!

Finally I joined her to the top of a big mountain; two guides took us until a
bridge which was in the middle of two mountains, Our first reaction was that is
so high up, there is no way I am going to be able to jump off that bridge but I
was there as a support of my friend Maria, so the moment had arrived,
eventually I started to feel cold and fear, I was next to her watching everything,
my friend did it and I was so proud of her but I definitely wouldn't do it , then I
was asked to sit down and they immediately started harnessing me up, then
they attached the rope. They also asked if i was scared, I said yes of course and
they told me everybody has fear

Then very quickly I was walked out onto the ledge, I was terrified. It took me a
really long time to let go of the bridge and there is no time for regrets. The final
thing is that it is all very quick: you look down then have a five, four, three,
two, one countdown and jump. I wasnt sure that I would be able to do it until I
actually did it. At first, it felt like time stopped. Then it was just falling through
the air.

After my jump, I felt like the king of the world. We then spent another 30
minutes talking about our experience and enthusiasm about how amazing the
whole experience had been.
