Faith, Hope, Love.

Its been an amazing year here in Colorado, filled with many Sisterhood and
Philanthropy events that our chapter will never forget! From the beginning of
the year, when we welcomed a total of 13 wonderful girls to our chapter, to
the end, when we hosted Kicks for CASA, our chapter has created a
multitude of memories to last a lifetime. These include participating in our
first Love is Louder campaign, initiating the new Theta Mu chapter of
School of Mines, and hosting Theta Thanksgiving for Alumnae. As the
year comes to a close, we are sad to say goodbye to our seniors but we
cannot wait to see all of the amazing things we know they will accomplish!

Sisterhood
This year has been filled with numerous Sisterhood events that have made our chapter closer. In
November, we participated in our first social campaign, where about half of our chapter went to
Garden of the Gods to take pictures for the Love is Louder campaign to raise attention around
the message that love and support is more powerful than the external and internal voices that bring
us down, cause us pain and make us feel hopeless. We look forward participating in this campaign
in future years! In April, our New Member Director revamped our Pansy Pal system by matching
all new members with an older member to get to know better, and held a Tea and Cake event to
kick off these new partnerships! Other sisterhood events include Theta Thursday, where a group of
Faith, Hope, Love Thetas go to Lunch every Thursday, promoting our members who are fitness ambassadors for
local studios around campus, and our Theta Sisterhood Tea. These are just a few examples, and
the seniors all agree that this is the most closely connected that they have felt to Theta over their
four years!

Alumnae
This year, we were fortunate to get together with local Kappa Alpha Theta Alumnae for several
events. These events included our annual Soups Up event, Theta Thanksgiving, Senior
Service, and Founders Day Brunch. All of these events gave our current members the chance to
foster relationships and network with the Theta Alumnae. Furthermore, our CMO incorporated her
Marketing Committee to help with planning for Soups Up and Theta Thanksgiving, which
allowed more of the chapter to feel engaged in events. We enjoyed getting to know the Alumnae
and listening to some of their best Theta memories!

Philanthropy
Our Service and Philanthropy directors worked hard this year to increase Beta Omegas
involvement with our local CASA organization and organizations around Colorado Springs. A
Girls Group was created through CASA with two separate girls group homes in the area. Both
groups met with members of our chapter during the first semester at the Theta Lodge to bake and
decorate cookies, as well as discuss issues regarding being a girl, such as self-esteem and
healthy relationships. This event was special for both our chapter and for the CASA girls, and we
have planned to continue meeting with them once a semester in the following years! Furthermore,
to honor Kappa Alpha Thetas Day of Service, our chapter volunteered at a local elementary
school to help host a Halloween Carnival. There, we worked various booths where kids could play
games and win tickets for candy! These events and more were very special to Beta Omega, and we
Faith, Hope, Love cant wait to further participate in helping the Colorado Springs community in the coming years.

Kicks for CASA

Kicks for CASA this year took place on April 29th where we raised around $7,000 and counting!
Though it was the coldest and snowiest Kicks we ever had, teams still showed up ready to play
and the event went smoothly without any concerns!
