*too many* of *them*. I don't consider one group of people to be more or

impact on human beings, most of which must have an actual job in order
to survive and provide for their families. If you're reading this, please go to
Google Earth (or Google Maps), pick somewhere big (New York, London,
Paris, Rio, Cairo, Mexico City) or a power plant, and then go up (into

discussing this topic. Sorry about the rant, but this is just such a
stimulating topic!

I would be interested to see what your dissertation concluded, but the
following seems clear to me. The economic impact of any major industrial
system generally has a large associated social impact, and vice versa
(losing a large employer has a large negative social impact). Additionally,
providing low-cost and environmentally benign power has additional
positive social impacts. Negative impacts generally derive from poor
safety or environmental performance or abusive industrial practices
relative to HR management.

First of all, you did not mentioned what kind of power plant you are talking
about. If it's a coal based power plant, or any other that uses fossil fuels,
the impact for the environment will be huge. If you are talking about solar
power plants, the impact for the environment is lower, but you will have
less jobs either. So, I think this is very relative, and it must be divided into
categories. Best Regards, Prof. Strobel.
