ANNA MARIA ISLAND RESORTS EVENT AGREEMENT

1. ENTIRE AGREEMENT: This agreement contains the entire understanding between Anna Maria Island
Resorts, known hereafter as AMIR, and THE CLIENT. This agreement supersedes all prior and simultaneous
agreements between the parties. The only way to change or add to this agreement is to do so in writing, and
providing the document is signed by all the relevant parties.
2. RESERVATION: Upon signing this document, AMIR will reserve the time and date agreed upon, and will
not make other reservations for that time and date. For this reason, the reservation deposit of 50% is non-
refundable, even if the date is changed or the wedding is cancelled for any reason. This includes acts of God,
fire, strike and/or extreme weather. The reservation deposit will be paid at time of signing this agreement, and
will be applied toward the contracted package. THE CLIENT understands and agrees that the entire amount
owed for the wedding package is due 14 days prior to the date of the wedding. Rooms may be held for the
wedding group for 14 days from time of booking. Rooms that have not been booked by the 14 days will be
released and will be available on a first come first served basis. THE CLIENT understands that a certain
number of rooms must be booked, in order to have the wedding ceremony at Tortuga; and that each of the
other resorts, Seaside & Tropic, the entire resort must be booked. THE CLIENT understands there is not
sufficient parking at the resort for event guests that are not staying at the resort; and that other arrangements
must be made for transportation to the event site.
3. ROOM DISCOUNT: Room discounts are not available during holiday periods. Holiday periods may also be
subject to a minimum night stay. Weekly rates are available. Discounts may not be combined with any other
discounts.

4. CANCELLATION: In the event THE CLIENT cancels the contracted services outlined in this agreement 14
or more days prior to the date of the wedding, the deposit will be forfeited. AMIR agrees to refund any
additional paid money.
5. PRE-EVENT CONSULTATION: The parties agree to a pre-event consultation, prior to the event, to
finalize the actual times, locations and any special requests.
6. HOUSE RULES: THE CLIENT understands that if any of their guests, prior to or during the event, are found
to be disruptive, rude, aggressive or severely inebriated, the guest may be asked to leave the property and/or
the group may be asked to leave the property.
7. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL: AMIR reserves the right, on discovery of previously unknown information,
changes to agreed circumstances, or other factors which tend to circumvent its policies, may result its
withdrawal. Non-cooperation, anti-social behavior and late payments are examples of contributing factors.
Should AMIR initiate the withdrawal, all fees will be returned.
8. MARKETING RIGHTS: AMIR reserves the right to use any and all photos and materials of events held its
resorts and/or beaches that are not covered under copyright protection.
9. LIMIT OF LIABILITY: AMIR is not responsible for any acts of nature, if an outdoor event is planned.
THE CLIENT is responsible for all back up plans.
10. PERFORMANCE: The performance of this contract, on behalf of AMIR, shall be contingent upon acts of
God, flood, fire, warfare, government laws or regulations, electrical failure, strikes by suppliers, and/or
conditions beyond its control.
I have read and understand the terms above. I hereby agree to the terms of this agreement.
