scienceadvancedmanrealizedthatanimalshaveatotallydifferentwayofperceivingthroughtheireyes.Soletsunderstandhowdifferentlyanimalsperceivethings
withtheireyes.

Whenitcomestocolor
Humanshavethreeconecellsintheeyewhichhelpusdetectred,greenandbluecolorsalsoanycolorsformedfromthecombinationofthesecanalsobeseenvery
easily.Wealsohavetherodcellsthathelpsussenselight.Buttherearethingsthatourhumaneyescannotsensewhichanimalssenseveryeasily.Animalshave
alwaysbeenstayinginthewildunlikeushumanstheydonothavethepotentialtobuildhousesandprotectthemselvesaswedo.Hence,theyaregiftedwithbetter
sensingstrengthandbetterperception.Hereareafewcommonanimalswithanincrediblyuniquefeaturetosightthingsaroundthem.

Considerthefollowinganimals:

Livingcreaturesaremainlyclassifiedasanimalsorplants,therefore,listingafewanimalswhichincludesomebirdsaswelltoseetheirsensingcapacity.

Lion:
Theyhavefewerconesbecauseofwhichtheyseelesscolor.Theyhaveareflectivemembraneonthebackoftheireyecalledtapetumlucidumasthedogsandother
nocturnalanimalsthatreflectlightatnight.Buthavegreatvisionatnight,especiallysincetheireyeshaveamembranethatconcentratesweaklightbacktotheretina
andtheirpupilsareabletoenlargetoanextentmuchbiggerthanours.Theyseethebluegreenpartofthespectrum.

Rabbits

Rabbitslikelyperceivered,blueandgreenvividlybutitsnotthesamewayaswehumansperceivethesecolors.

Oneofthemostinterestingpointtoconsiderinarabbitistheplacementoftheireyes.Itsbecausetheireyesareonthesidesoftheirheads,rabbitscanseealmost
behindthemselves.Soinsomewaytheycanseebetterthanhumanswhenthewidthoftheirvisionofconcerned.

Butterflies:

Theyhave5differentcolorreceptivecellstodetect5differentcolors.Twoofthesecolorsareknowntousbuttherestthreecolorsarebeyondourimagination.Itis
possiblethattheycanseecolorinamuchadvancedwaysascomparedtohumanbeings.

Mantisshrimps:

Theyhaveaverygoodeyesightforcolorastheyhave16colorreceptivecellsanditisverydifficultforustoactuallyfigureoutwhatkindofcolorstheycansee.
Theyarethemostadvancedincolorreception.

Bees

Theyalsohaveabroadcolorrange.Buttheydonotseeredandcanonlydifferentiatebetweensixmajorcategoriesofcolor,whichincludesyellow,bluegreen,blue,
violet,andultraviolet.Amazinglytheyalsoseeacolorknownasbeespurple,amixtureofyellowandultraviolet.ItisunimaginableforhumanstoseetheUV
lightasthebeesobserve.

Bats

Batsareblind.Theycantseecolorbuttheyhaveasharpsensetounderstandvibrations.Batscanseebetterthanwedoatnight.Theycanseeinthedarkbyusing
echolocation.
