The blood is dark and thickened and fails
to clot readily.
 Blood analysis from ill cow marked leucocytosis and neutrophilia,which is under treatment of
penicillin in high doses.MCHC decreased levels may indicate iron deficiency.Low MCHC values
are seen with hypochromic cells (due to iron deficiency secondary to chronic inflammatory
disease, chronic infection and neo-plasia), and in regenerative anaemia.
 Total protein test found normal

specific proteins normally present in relatively low concentration, eg, increases
in acute phase reactants and polyclonalimmunoglobulins produced in
inflammatory states, late-stage liver disease, and infections.
