Management System: Alaska salmon is primarily managed by the Alaska

Department of Fish and Game and the Alaskas Board of Fisheries. In addition,
Alaskas Sustainable Salmon Fisheries Policy and the Pacific Salmon Treaty (PST)
MSCI 0404 also provides guidance to the salmon management regimes that provide updated
information on stock status, harvest guidelines. About 167 million salmon have
been commercially harvested since 2000. Alaska fishermen can only participate in
