At the information desk, I answer the main phone of the University when anyone calls with questions
and either answer the question for them or transfer their call to someone who can help them. I welcome
guests into the building and assist them as needed.

I work at the Office of Admissions where I call students who have shown some type of interest
in the University. I call students and talk to them about their school year as well as how their college search
is going. We then have a conversation about Mount Union where I explain what they should expect if they
were to attend Mount Union as well as answer any questions they may have.

I work with my co-workers to wash dishes and press linens. I am also responsible to prep orders for
customers, where I need to pay close attention to details to make sure I pull exactly what the customer has
requested. When I work off site helping with special event set ups, I set up pipe and drape trade shows,
wedding backdrops as well as set up tables, chairs and linens for various functions. I am given an
assignment that I have to productively work on by myself or alongside other co-workers and finish in a
timely manner.

Soccer Referee
Perry Township Youth Soccer Club Perry Township
Before I turned 16 and could hold a job, I decided to become a soccer referee. I attended a day long class
where I learned more in detail about the rules of soccer and what to do if they were broken. Every Saturday
morning for two and a half months out of the year I would ref two to four games. I interacted with the
children playing and the coaches.

Relay for Life Committee- Prepare for Mount Unions Relay for Life by reaching out to the community,

new ideas on how to make the event a success.
Its Math Club- Education club that analyzes the subject of math and how teachers can make the class
more interesting for the students as well as making them prepared to move onto the next grade
level.
SNEA- Education majors meet and talk about their student teaching, lesson plans, or controversial topics in
education.
