Over the past 17 years CJF has grown to become a firm fixture on
the regional arts calendar with thousands of attendees each year
enjoying the celebration of theatre, music, performing arts, family
arts, street performance and visual arts presented in a myriad of
venues throughout the town.
Having had a founding Artistic Director for the first 15 years of its life,
2016 saw the first outing with new eyes. A tremendous critical and
artistic success, we are now looking for a dynamic new director to
lead Clonmel Junction Festival into 2018 and beyond. Wed love you
to join us in Clonmel during Clonmel Junction Festival 2017, to get a
sense of what a great festival it is and how it impacts on the town
and its great people. We then want your brilliance and your vision to
work with us to put together the programme for 2018.
Relationship Management
The Festival Director manages the Festivals relationship with its
stakeholders in conjunction with the Festival Manager:
Governance
The Festival Director is responsible for
ensuring that all legal obligations of the company are met
including liaison with the Companies Registration Office, the
Charities Regulation Authority, Revenue and other government
bodies
Administration/ Operations
The Festival Director is responsible for organising insurance cover for
the company and any additional cover required during the festival
period
o Flexibility
Type of Contract
Overlap with current director in run up to 2017; attend 2017 festival
and prepare 2018 Arts Council application, for submission in early
September.

interviews will be held in Clonmel on Thursday 22 June.
