CHASE Fund Scholarships

2017/2018
The Culture, Health, Arts, Sports & Education Fund is pleased to announce its
offer of scholarships for study in the following disciplines:

EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION HEALTH

Scholarships are being offered for professional Consistent with national priority needs in cancer care
training tenable at an accredited educational institution in Jamaica, scholarships are being offered for
towards; undergraduate & postgraduate degree in:
Bachelor and Associate Degree in Early Childhood
Education Radiation Oncology (postgraduate)
Postgraduate degree in the specialized areas of: Radiation Therapist (undergraduate)
Special Education Specialist Nursing (Critical Care, Public Health)
Child Behaviour & Development
Education Social Work

ARTS & CULTURE

Scholarships are being offered towards undergraduate and postgraduate degrees with priority focus on:

Performing Arts
Visual Arts
Cultural/Heritage Studies
Film Production

CRITERIA
Applicant must be a Jamaican National
Have a satisfactory level of academic achievement
Have demonstrated exceptional talent in their chosen area of study
Candidates must:
Provide evidence of acceptance from an accredited institution
Provide an official transcript where applicable
Provide copy of Resume
Indicate other sources of funding
Personal affairs statement
Provide 2 references (academic & character)

3. Select the link for the online application
4. Fill out the form following the instructions provided
5. Submit the application with required documents

- Only shortlisted candidates will be interviewed

- Overseas Programs will not be considered if available locally
- Successful candidates will be subject to bonding in accordance with the GOJ Ministry of Finance
