Though the role of India and china has been backed out as
a result of American sanctions, yet Russia is keen about this
project and is supporting it. The major reason in this regard is
the Russian reluctance over TAPI as it desires that the gas
should be produced from Iran but at the same time, it is not in
her interest that the Central Asian gas may come downwards
