How to Install Ubuntu in dualboot using usb bootable

Equipment :
Laptop
Flash Disk
Ubuntu ISO
Rufus Application
EasyBCD Application

Step :
Step 1 : Prepare windows machine for dual-boot
1. First, press Win + R on the keyboard, type diskmgmt.msc and the disk management utility
should open.
2. Second, right clik on d: partition and select Shrink Volume in order to resize the partition
3. Third, on shrink d: enter a value on Space to shrink in MB ( use at least 20000MB depending
on the d: partition size ) and hit shrink to start partition size.

Once the Space has been resized you will see a new unallocated Space on the hard drive.
Leave it as default.

Step 2 : Prepare your usb bootable


1. The first you must have :
Rufus application
Ubuntu ISO
8 GB USB flash drive (minimum recommended)
2. Now, lets create our bootable
1) First, open the Rufus application
2) Second, let the default setting
3) Third, click the optical drive button and youll be prompted to search for the ISO
image to use.
4) Next, click start.
5) And then the process may take several minutes to complete.
6) And reboot the computer in order to procced with ubuntu installation.

Step 3 : Booting to bootable Installer Ubuntu


1. Enter the Bios to boot-up from usb by pressing a special function key ( usually F2,F10,F12
or esc)
2. Next click boot option and setting first boot to usb flash drive.
3. And then save and exit.

Step 4 : Install Ubuntu with Windows dual boot


1. Once the media boot-up a new grub screen should appear on your monitor. From the menu
select Try Ubuntu and run Gparted application.
2. And then make three partition
1) First, make boot partition and use 1GB Space .
2) Second, make swap partition and use 4GB Space .
3) Third, make root partition and use 20GB Space.
3. After all partition are finished,next click install Ubuntu 16.04 LTS in the Dekstop.
4. Next the installer will open,choose the language and click continue.
5. Next check install third party software.
6. Next, select something else and continue again.
7. After that, in each partition we have created , select change and then mount point boot
partition to /boot and check format the partition.
8. For swap partition choose use as swap area.
9. And mount point root partition to /
10. After that change device for boot loader installation to boot partition and click install now.
Step 5: make a bodlooader Ubuntu
1. You must have EasyBCD application, if done open the application
2. Next click add new entry
3. Choose Linux/bsd tab
4. Choose grup(legacy) in type menu
5. Fill Ubuntu 16.04 LTS in the name
6. And then, in drive select boot partition, if finished click add entry
