Apr. 28 '63 Andrew Oldham and Eric Easton saw the Rolling Stones at
Richmond and signed a management deal the next day

May 10 '63 First official recording session at Olympic Studios. Andrew


Oldham produced. Tracks included, "Come On", "I Wanna Be
Loved"
June 7 '63 "Come On"/"I Wanna Be Loved" released and they appear on
"Thank Your Luck Stars" - their first television appearance.

Sept. 29 '63 First English tour with Everly Brothers and Bo Diddley opens
at the New Victoria, London, with 30 dates concluding on
Nov. 3.

Nov. 1 '63 Release of "I Wanna Be Your Man"/"Stoned"

Jan. 6, '64 The Rolling Stones start tour, topping the bill for the
first time, with The Ronettes.

Feb. 21 '64 Release of "Not Fade Away"/"Little By Little"

Apr. '64 Release their first LP The Rolling Stones

June 3-June 20 First American tour. On June 16, they fly back to Magdalen
College, Oxford, to honor an agreement booked the previous
year.

July 8 '64 "It's All Over Now" at #1. Keith, Bill and Brian attend the
Beatles' party at the Dorchester Hotel to celebrate the

Decca releases Stone Age lp

May 12 '71 Mick Jagger marries Bianca Peres Morena de Macias in St.
Tropez at a civil ceremony at the Town Hall and then blessed
at the Chapel of St. Anne. Guests included - the Rolling
Stones, Paul and Linda McCartney, Ringo and Maureen Starr,
Rohnie Lane, Ian McLagan, Ronnie Wood, Kenny Jones, Chris
Jagger, Mr. and Mrs. Jagger, Roger Vadim (a witness), Ahmet
Ertegun, Marshall Chess, Ossie Clark, and many others. The
receptions continued most of the night at a local
restaurant.

May 24 '71 "The Stones in the Park" film from the Granada Television
series "The Winners" is shown for the first time in colour.

Stones perform an impromptu street concert on Fifth Avenue
from a flat-bed truck. Performing with them are Ron Wood
and Billy Preston.

June 1-Aug. 2 '75 The Rolling Stones begin their "Tour of the Americas" in
Baton Rouge, LA. Other cities they played in included
Kansas City, Milwaukee, St. Paul, Cleveland, Buffalo,
Toronto, New York, Philadelphia, Memphis, Dallas, Los
Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Chicago, Detroit, ATlanta,
and Jacksonville.

June 5 '75 The "Daily Mirror" reports that due to change in copyright
laws in Russia, the Rolling Stones will be paid for their
records released there. Previously Russia made no payment
to any artist for their work released or used in the
c o u n t r y.
June 10 '75 The "Daily Mirror" reports the Mick Jagger was not mentioned
in "Who's Who" this year. The Stones replied by sending a
wheelbarrow full of flowers to the chairman, Charles Black.

July 7 '75 Keith charges with having a concealed weapon on his person.
Also charged with reckless driving at Fordyce, Arkansas.

Aug. 15 '75 Keith cleared on knife charge.

Aug. 23 '75 Mick Jagger catches the Tubes in concert at the Boarding
House in San Francisco.

Sept. 20 '75 From Ireland, Mick announces that the Stones plan a three-
week European tour before Christmas.

Sept. 27 '75 Bill Wyman doing some work on his next solo album in New
York.

Oct. '75 Rumours that the Rolling Stones long and highly successful
tour of the US and Canada is their last, have been described
as nonsense by manager Peter Rudge.

Nov. 15 '75 Decca releases Rolled Gold a double lp

Nov. 22 '75 The Rolling Stones on Radio Luxembourg for no less that four
solid hours.

turning the Boston Strangler into a hero in their song

Feb. '76 Japanese girl says she is haunted by the late Brian Jones.

May 1 '76 Stones tape four promo videos at Ostenhalle in Kiel "Fool to
Cry", "Crazy Mama", "Hot Stuff", and "Hey Negrita"
July '76 Following the tour, Keith remains in Europe, while Mick
vacations in Montauk, Long Island with Bianca and Jade

Feb. 26 '77 Stones come into Toronto to tape El Mocambo shows. Customs
comes into a purse belonging to Anita Pallenburg that
contains traces of cocaine. She is arrested at the airport.

Mar. 1 '77 The search warrant reads "Anita Pallenburg", but the
Mounties bust Keith when they pay a visit to the Harbour
Castle Hilton.
Mar. 4 & 5 '77 The sweat drips from the ceiling as the Stones play two hot
shows at the tiny El Mocambo. Sweat drips from the forehead
of Prime Minister Trudeau when the first lady is seen at one
of the shows. She goes back to their hotel afterwards and a
scandal erupts.
Mar. 6 '77 Mick Jagger, Charlie Watts, and Ron Wood return to New York.
When Maggie Trudeau does same, the scandal now becomes
property of the New York Tabloids. Word is, the one she's
after is Ronnie.

rehearsing for their tour, at Bearsville, in Woodstock, NY>
June 1 '78 Some Girls album is released. Shortly after, some of those
girls on the lp's cover - Lucille Ball, Raquel Welch, Liz
Taylor - threaten to sue. After several months, Atlantic
caves in and changes the cover. Jesse Jackson also makes a
rumble about the "black girls" line in the title track. The

Mar. - Apr. '79 Mick vacations in Martinique, while Keith and Woody begin
rehearsals in LA for their New Barbarians tour, with
musicians Bobby Keys, Ian McLagen, Stanley Clarke and Ziggy
Modeliste.

Auditorium in Canada, by having the New Barbarians and the
Rolling Stones perform two shows apiece to benefit the
Canadian Institute for the Blind. John Belushi MC's the
show before a capacity crowd of 4,000.

Apr. - May '79 New Barbarians play in cities to crowds that yell for Mick
and Ron. No guests appear throughout the tour, causing the
crowd in Milwaukee to destroy the auditorium.

July '79 Stones begin recording in Paris.

July 5 '79 Peter Tosh's Mystic Man released by Rolling Stones Records.

Aug. 15 '79 Keith and Woody leave the Stones sessions briefly for a New
Barbarians show, opening for Led Zeppelin at Knebworth,
England.

Dec. 31 '79 Mick shaves off his beard. Woody and David Bowie ring in
the New Year by catching Sam & Dave's set at Trax.
Jan. 16 '80 New Barbarians, sans Keith, play one show in Milwaukee, to
make up for the damage done at their previous show there.
Feb. 22 '80 Ron Wood and Jo Howard arrested for cocaine on St. Maarten,
and spend five days in jail. Ruled a frame-up, the couple
are released.
June 1 '80 Woody celebrated his birthday at Lion's Head in New York.
Mar. '80 Stones tape "thermal" videos for Emotional Rescue which are
later shelved.

Romeo is released by Shannachie Records. The lp is marketed
on Keith's name (Keith did produce and play on a few cuts)

Sept. 25 '82 Exactly one year after opening The Stones tour there, Mick
returns to JFK Stadium with daughter Jade to witness a Who
concert. Jade prefers openers, The Clash.

Fall '82 Mick and Jerry temporarily split. Stones begin recording in
Paris, but Mick, Keith and Woody make it back to New York
for the holidays. Mick plays the field while in New York,
and keith and Patti say they'll be marrying soon. Reporters
start sniffing around her hometown of Staten Island.

Jan. '83 Sponsored by an adult education centre, Ron Wood presents a


lecture of 1500 people at New York's Town Hall. Despite
shouts of "Keith!" no rumoured guests appear, and Ron is

videos on a large screen, plays a few minutes on bass and
pedal steel guitar, and then fields questions from a

Jan. 18 '83 Stones, save for Bill Wyman, host a part at Tavern On The

their "Let's Spend the Night Together" movie, filmed during

Richards and CBS head Walter Yetnikoff. The deal is
reportedly worth 28 million dollars and call for The Stones

Feb. 23 '86 At London's 100 Club, The Stones unexpectedly play almost a
dozen songsmostly blues coversfor a tightly invited
audience, gathered to pay tribute to Ian Stewart. Guests
who found their way to the stage: Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck,
Pete Townshend, Jack Bruce and Simon Kirke (ex of Bad
Company). It marks the first time The Stones have played
together live in almost five years, and word is, it may have
rejuvenated hopes of a 1986 tour.
Feb. 25 '86 At roughly 3:00 A.M. in London's Roof Garden Club, The
Stones are presented with the Grammy's Lifetime Achievement
Award by Eric Clapton. The acceptance is fed back live to
the U.S. via satellite. Mick makes reference to the shlock
image of the Grammys. Jeff Beck, Eurythmic's Dave Stewart,

VRISTBMID PROCEDURE FOR THE ROLLING STOKES



1. The wristband you have received was passed out in random order*
2. On Saturday, 16 September, you must return to the same TM outlet you
received your wristband at. Your wristband will not be honoured at
any other outlet.
3. The lineup will begin forming in numerical order at 9:00am Saturday
morning. People with blue wristbands will be served first.
4. People with yellow wristbands will be served in numerical order after
all blue wristbands have been served.
5. Any late arrivals (those that arrive after their number and colour
have been called out) must go to the end of the line.
Having a wristband does not guarantee tickets, just a place in line.
7. Any wristband that is broken, lost, or tampered with will not be
honoured.
8. Ticket limit is 6 (six) per customer.
9. Ticket price is $35.60 including service charge.
10. Seats behind the soundboard (with a limited view) may be released.
They will sell for $33.50.
11. The concert will go on sale at 9:30am Saturday, 16 September.
