Pre-assessment activity : Guessing game (Number and number disc) Grade1, 2,3
A. Pre-activities:
Drill: Numbers with 1 and 10 (show me board)
Review: Showing numbers with 1 -10 ( matching type)
- Motivation: Show a mango tree with fruits which contain numbers from 1-10. Let them pick the fruit and tell the
number on it
- Integrate the value of eating fruits
B. Presenting the activity/modeling
- The teacher will show number discs 1, 10,
- He will show how to form 35 using number discs
- He will also use ones, and flats to show the same number 45
- He will also use other pictures to represent a number such as the ones given before
- Other numbers can be used below 50.

- The teacher gives other examples but this time it includes


number discs 100, 1000
