Throughout my career, I have developed the necessary skills to be successful in a wide variety of positions in many
different environments. As a supervisor, I have learned how to delegate tasks in a respectful, professional manner. I
have the skills needed to quickly and efficiently take care of any issues that arise. While working for previous
employers, I have learned that flexibility is the key to ensure that the job gets completed in a timely manner. As a
manager, I became very goal-oriented, this helped me to accomplish difficult tasks and handle difficult situations
with ease. My time management skills and my self-motivation have allowed me to be successful in my studies
while working a full-time job. I have over two years of experience of working in education with a variety of special
education and regular education students. I am a hardworking, dependable employee. I do what is asked and
always shoot to exceed expectations. While working to follow directions, I am able to lead others to do the same.
My personal values allow me to be honest and upfront with everyone and always work to find the best solution
possible in any situation.

Lansing School District, USD 469 August 2016-July 2017
I worked as a special education teacher specializing in behaviors. I also taught direct social skills and learning
strategies classes. I also co-taught in social studies and math classrooms as well. I also collaborated with
administrators, general and special education teachers, and other staff members to provide each student with the best
educational environment possible.
Lansing School District, USD 469 January 2016-July 2016
I worked as a para educator in the SBS Room, specializing in teaching social and organization skills to students with
disabilities. I left this job to begin my teaching career as a special education teacher at the same district.
Student Teaching Experience August 2015-November 2015
During my student teaching experience, I assumed the responsibilities of the classroom teacher. I designed lesson
plans, entered grades, communicated with parents, graded assignments, and other daily responsibilities of the
teacher within the classroom. I also worked with cooperating teachers, para educators, and other professionals to
align content and curriculum. I also worked with a variety of special education and regular education students in the
general education classroom.
Lansing School District, USD 469 July 2013-August 2015
I worked as a para educator for USD 469 in the New Beginnings alternative school. This job entailed working with
a variety of special education students with severe behavioral and emotional issues and other disabilities. During
this experience, I was able to work with many different students in grades K-12. This allowed me to gain better
insights and perspectives into designing and implementing new strategies and techniques in the classroom in order
to provide the students with a more successful environment to learn in.
Speedway Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep February 2011-July 2013
I worked as a Quick Lane Technician for the local Chrysler dealership, in which I performed maintenance on
vehicles, operated specialized equipment and tools, and provided excellent customer service in a timely and efficient
manner. I also trained new employees and other tasks as needed during my experience as a Quick Lane Technician.
