Gaza Strip – Crossings Activities

Implementation of the Cabinet’s decision - June 2010

Israel has increased the capacity of the Kerem Shalom

crossing by 60% so that 150 truckloads may enter
the Gaza Strip via Kerem Shalom on a daily basis.
The list of controlled items to the Gaza Strip was
published on July 5th . The list may be found on the
Prime Minister's Office website-

Since July 4th construction work is being conducted on
the Palestinian side of Kerem Shalom crossing, in
order to expand the capacity of the crossing to 250
truckloads a day (starting July 31st 2010).

Crossing Activity
-161 truckloads were unloaded at the crossings and delivered
into the Gaza Strip. Construction on the Palestinian side of
Kerem Shalom crossing continued throughout the day.

• 36 patients and accompanying individuals crossed

Erez into Israel and the West Bank.
Crossing • 35 Int. org. staff members entered the Gaza Strip.
• 58 Int. org. staff members entered Israel

119 truckloads (1,988 tons) were delivered into the Gaza strip.
42 truckloads arrived from Gaza to the Palestinian
side and delivered aggregates for structural
Kerem improvements of the crossing in Gaza.
Shalom 131 truckloads were coordinated but only 119 arrived
to the crossing.
178,397 liters of Heavy Duty Diesel fuel for Heating were
transferred.
134 tons of Cooking Gas were transferred.
