COMPUTER SYSTEM SERVICING

I. OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the lesson, students should be able to:
a. identify the common key terms used in the internet;
b. value the importance of technology in their everyday lives;
c. compare and contrast the nuances of varied platforms, sites and content;
d. sketch a simple website based on their needs.

1. Checking of attendance
2. Motivation
How many times have you checked your cellphone this morning? How
many times have you updated your Facebook status today?

B. Development of the lesson:

2. Presentation of the Lesson: (4As Approach)


Activity
A. Students are grouped into 5 and teacher will distribute manila papers
and markers. Students will write as much as many as they can in the
circuit of knowledge about the word COMPUTER.
B. Teacher will let the students choose five (5) most common to them.
C. Students will explain why they choose these five key terms.
Analysis
From the activity, students will answer the following questions:
What are the importance of computer?
How can computer help us in dealing with our problems?
How can social media help you in your studies?
Why do people use computer often in researching, not the library?
What are the differences between websites?
How dangerous visiting the world wide web often times?
Abstraction
What is world wide web?
What is social media? What are some examples?
What is a computer?
What is a website?
Application
Each group will sketch a simple website. Each group will choose a group
leader who will present their sketch next meeting.

IV. EVALUATION
In a 1-whole sheet of paper. Students will answer the following questions.
1. What is world wide web?
2. What is social media? What are some examples?
3. What is a computer?
4. What is a website?

V. ASSIGNMENT/AGREEMENT
1. Presentation of sketches next meeting.
