RE: Election of New Chief Commissioner

Good day!

Article XII Section 1.1 of the 2016 Constitution of the Undergraduate Students of the
Ateneo de Manila Loyola Schools states that a Chief Commissioner is to be elected from the
Ateneo Commission on Elections Board of Commissioners. Article XII Section 2.3.2 of the
2016 Constitution of the Undergraduate Students of the Ateneo de Manila Loyola Schools
also states that the Chief Commissioner on Elections is to be elected by all commissioners of
the Commission on Elections and chosen from among them.
In line with this, the Board of Commissioners has elected Rafael Martin Moreno,
Commissioner for Finance, as Chief Commissioner of the Ateneo Commission on Elections
for Academic Year 2017-2018. This decision was made on the 6th day of June 2017 during a
meeting of the Board of Commissioners.
