What about Fallen Angels?
The Nature of Demons
Demons, like angels, are
referred to with personal
pronouns
Luke 8:28, When he saw Jesus,
he cried out, fell down before
Him, and with a loud voice said,
What have I to do with You,
Jesus, Son of the Most High
God? I beg you, do not torment
me!
The Nature of Demons
Demons, like angels, have
personal names.

Luke 8:30, Jesus asked him,

say-ing, What is your name?
And he said, Legion.
The Nature of Demons
Demons, like angels, can
speak and can communicate
with us.

Luke 8:31, So they [the

demons] begged Him [Jesus]
that He would not command
them to go out into the abyss.
The Nature of Demons
Demons, like angels, have
emotions.

Again, Luke 8:28 depicts the

Satans declaration of independence

by these two declarations (Isa 14: 12,
15):

You have been cast down to the

earth, you who once laid low the
nations! v12

But you are brought down to the

grave, to the depths of the pit. v15
The Fall of Demons
Matthew 25 provides Jesus
description of historys end: When
the Son of man comes in His glory,
and all the holy angels with Him, then
He will sit on the throne of His glory
(25:31).

According to Jesus description of

that time, He will say to those who
are condemned, Depart from Me,
you cursed, into the everlasting fire
prepared for the devil and his angels
(25:41).
The Work of Demons

establish his own counterfeit
kingdom in opposition to
God's kingdom.

Angels: Worthy is the Lamb
who was slain, to receive
power and wealth and
wisdom and strength and
honour and glory and
praise!
Together: To him who sits
on the throne and to the
Lamb be praise and honour
and glory and power for ever
and ever!
Together: Amen!
my prayer is that as we
study about angel and
demons, it should
drawn our focus back to
God. It should draw us
in worship God the
Father and Son; it
should draw us to join
the angels to bow our
knees and worship God.
Revelation provides a picture of
humans and angels together
worshiping God. Every angel and
elder in heaven cried out in praise:
Worthy is the Lamb (5:12). Then
every creature which is in heaven
and on earth says, Blessing and
honor and glory and power be to the
Lord. Later, a multitude of humans
cried out: Salvation belongs to our
God (7:10). After that, the angels and
elders said, Amen! Blessing and
glory and wisdom, / Thanksgiving and
honor and power and might, / Be to
our God forever and ever (7:12).
Let us join our voices
together with the angel
to worship the Almighty
God of the universe!
Angels: Worthy is the Lamb
who was slain, to receive
power and wealth and
wisdom and strength and
honour and glory and
praise!
Together: To him who sits
on the throne and to the
Lamb be praise and honour
and glory and power for ever
and ever!
Together: Amen!
