I. Call meeting to order.

i. Correspondence with the Village of Spring Green regarding trees.
ii. Outcome of Dr. Erin Silvas seminar held on Friday, May 12, 2017.

i. Ideas on how to best organize and divide tasks within Groundskeeping.

i. Routine business.
d. Treasurers Report.
i. Correspondence from the IRS on status and other filings.
ii. Current balance of the Treasury.
iii. Update on grants applied for on behalf of the RVACG.

VII. New Business.
a. Consideration and approval to appoint Doug Rouse, Ph.D., as the RVACGs Plant Disease
Diagnostician. This appointment would be made purely as an appointive agent of the Board of
Directors and not as a director thereof.
b. Consideration and approval to hold recurring, monthly Disease Walks on-site with Dr.
Rouse, from June through September, to instruct gardeners on the identification, biology, and
control of various plant pathogens, pests, and physiological disorders encountered while
gardening. The dates for routine Disease Walks shall be established later by Rouse.
c. Consideration and approval of the Curators electronically-presented draft tree placement map.
d. Consideration and approval to plant grapevines on the northern edge of the SWOFVT Garden
in the spring of 2018, and for any trellising system and supplies to be procured and installed in
the meantime.
VIII. Open Forum.
IX. Adjourn until the next scheduled meeting on Saturday, June 10, 2017, starting at 10:00 a.m. in the
library at Spring Green Community Church.
This meeting of the Board of Directors will be held in the library at Spring Green Community Church,
151 E. Bossard Street, Spring Green, Wisconsin 53588. The meeting will be called to order at 10:00 a.m.
