you.Ifyouarenotsodestined,noonecanhelpyoueither.Nothingwillbegainedby
blamingothersforyourmisfortune.Jealousywillnotgetyouanywhere;itwillonlytake
awayyourpeaceofmind.
5.ChangeYourselfAccordingToTheEnvironment.
Ifyoutrytochangetheenvironmentsinglehandedly,thechancesareyouwillfail.Instead,
changeyourselftosuityourenvironment.Asyoudothis,eventheenvironment,whichhas
beenunfriendlytoyou,willmysteriouslychangeandseemcongenialandharmonious.
6.EndureWhatCannotBeCured.
Thisisthebestwaytoturnadisadvantageintoanadvantage.Everydaywefacenumerous

peaceofmind.Tryandexperienceityourself.Ifyoumeditateearnestlyforhalfanhour
everyday,yourmindwilltendtobecomepeacefulduringtheremainingtwentythreeand
halfhours.Yourmindwillnotbeeasilydisturbedasitwasbefore.Youwouldbenefitby
graduallyincreasingtheperiodofdailymeditation.Youmaythinkthatthiswillinterfere
withyourdailywork.Onthecontrary,thiswillincreaseyourefficiencyandyouwillbeable
toproducebetterresultsinlesstime.
9.NeverLeaveTheMindVacant.
Anemptymindisthedevil'sworkshop.Allevilactionsstartinthevacantmind.Keepyour
mindoccupiedinsomethingpositive,somethingworthwhile.Activelyfollowahobby.Do
somethingthatholdsyourinterest.Youmustdecidewhatyouvaluemore:moneyorpeaceof
mind.Yourhobby,likesocialworkorreligiouswork,maynotalwaysearnyoumoremoney,
butyouwillhaveasenseoffulfillmentandachievement.Evenwhenyouareresting
physically,occupyyourselfinhealthyreadingormentalchantingofGod'sname.
10.DoNotProcrastinateAndNeverRegret.
Donotwastetimeinprotractedwondering"ShouldIorshouldn'tI?"Days,weeks,months,
andyearsmaybewastedinthatfutilementaldebating.Youcanneverplanenoughbecause
youcanneveranticipateallfuturehappenings.Valueyourtimeanddothethingsthatneedto
bedone.Itdoesnotmatterifyoufailthefirsttime.Youcanlearnfromyourmistakesand
succeedthenexttime.Sittingbackandworryingwillleadtonothing.Learnfromyour
mistakes,butdonotbroodoverthepast.DONOTREGRET.Whateverhappenedwas
destinedtohappenonlythatway.Whycryoverspiltmilk?
