The culture of India is the way of living

of the people of India.


India's languages, religions,dance, musi
c, architecture, food, and customs
differ from place to place within the
country. The Indian culture, often
labeled as an amalgamation of several
cultures, spans across the Indian
subcontinent and has been influenced by
a history that is several millennia old.
LANGUAGES
There are several languages in India belonging to different language
families, the major ones being the Indo-Aryan languages spoken by 75%
of Indians and the Dravidian languages spoken by southern Indians.
RELIGION
Religion in India is characterized by a diversity of religious beliefs and
practices. India is the birthplace of four of the world's major religions;
namely Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism
DANCE
Dance in India comprises the varied styles ofdances in the country. As
with other aspects ofIndian culture, different forms of dances originated
in different parts of India, developed according to the local traditions
and also imbibed elements from other parts of the country
