I. OBJECTIVES Objectives must be met over the week and connected to the curriculum standards. To meet the objectives, necessary
procedures must be followed and if needed, additional lessons, exercises and remedial activities may be done for
developing content knowledge and competencies. These are assessed using Formative Assessment strategies. Valuing
objectives support the learning of content and competencies and enable children to find significance and joy in learning
the lessons. Weekly objectives shall be derived from the curriculum guides.

IV. PROCEDURE
A. Reviewing previous Lesson or presenting Picture Prompt:
new lesson 1. The teacher will show pictures depicting changes in the body of a child. The teacher should be able to emphasize that
puberty is the stage where many physical changes take place.
B. Establishing a purpose for the lesson 2. Ask the learners to describe or say something about the pictures.
3. The teacher will write all possible answers given by the students or the teacher may prepare description in metacards
and let the students choose the appropriate description in the picture shown.
4. The teacher will explain that if the student fails to cope with the different changes during the puberty stage, different
health-issues and concerns may arise.
Focused Listing
1. Choose a leader who will lead the pupils in doing some physical exercises while counting (2 minutes).
2. Ask the learners if performing a daily exercise is a good practice.
3. Ask some healthful habits they do regularly to maintain good health.
4. From the list given, rate the pupils using rubrics. (Annex1)
