This document provides an introduction and overview of the course "HUL 211 Object Perception and Memory". The course aims to help students understand psychological principles of object perception and memory. It covers topics like defining objects, bottom-up and top-down processing, experimental methods, and how location, orientation, color and other factors influence perception and memory of objects. Students will independently design and conduct an experiment involving human subjects. Evaluation will include exams, a project presentation and write up. The goal is to apply this knowledge in areas like human-computer interaction and intelligent systems design.
