e Science and Maths Assessment-Trends

After the observation of the energy production of Australia's states, some trends have been
discovered. These trends explain why the percentages of resources vary.

The first trend is how the mean of Hydroelectricity is high. The average for Hydroelectricity is
34.56%. This is because, if you compare the other numbers, 21.3% being the highest, the average
without a number that is around the amount the other numbers are, the average would be far
lower. This is because Tasmania's Hydroelectricity is 126.3%, so this percentage boosts up the
whole average.

Another trend is Wind energy is that when you compare the states in the order in the graph, it goes
in descending order, South Australia being the highest at 43.4% and Queensland in last place at
0%. This is probably because the usage and dependence vary from state.

It is not discerning to rely on Solar energy because it isn't on for 24/7, unlike most energy sources.
It you use solar energy, you can only use electrical items in the day as there is no sunlight at night.
However, when the sun is out, solar panels do harness a lot of electricity. Therefore, you can use
solar energy, but always need a backup energy sources.
