PATIENCE IN TRIBULATION.

First Bible Lesson: Matthew Chapter 24 verse 9

"Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shal
l be hated of all nations for my name's sake."
Second Bible Lesson: John Chapter 15 verse 18
"If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you."
Golden Text: Acts Chapter 28 verse 22
"But we desire to hear of thee what thou thinkest: for as concerning this sect,
we know that every where it is spoken against."
Everybody should listen very attentively to the gospel of today. Brethren, what
are your problems now? You have heard about what happened; what is happening and
what will happen. It is said, for this sect is it spoken against everywhere.
There are times you would say: "In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall eve
ry word be established." (Matthew Chapter 18 verse 16). That statement is not al
together true. A million persons can attest to falsehood. In fact, it is the ord
er of the day today to bear false witness and get an innocent person convicted.
It is quite common to find people coming around to ask why so many people speak
disdainful words against Brotherhood. You may not realize immediately why he ask
s the question. In comparison, he may want to know why other churches are not so
spoken against. I am now expatiating the necessary answers which you may have n
ot known especially when confronted with such questions.
By their estimation, if Brotherhood were to be good, no person would have embark
ed on calumny against it. But you have heard, even from Adam, no person has ever
spoken good of God. During the time of Cain and Abel, you will recall, people n
ever spoke good of God. The prophets of old, like Jeremiah, John the Baptist and
Joseph the Son of Jacob were sent to languish in jail for telling the truth.
If Joseph had, for instance, from the start, agreed to have sexual intimacy with
his master's wife, he would have been accepted as the Lord of the house, he wou
ld not have suffered any imprisonment. If Jeremiah had toed the line of the king
s by always prophesying about the kings, he would have been admired and loved. I
f Our Lord Jesus Christ had approved and recommended the activities of the world
, He would have been beloved and not hated; and despised.
Do not doubt what has been happening. Do not be troubled when you realize, all f
acets of the society hate Brotherhood. Necromancers, sorcerers, adulterers and i
dolaters hate Brotherhood. However, such claims are not relatively new to my ear
s. When you complain, people are speaking guile against you, you are yet reading
an old chapter. The choice is all yours; to stand firm inspite of their ramblin
gs or give in and backslide. Whichever way you may turn to, the Word of God stan
ds for eternity.
Do not be deceived into believing, a person who hated your father can ever love
you. The world does not love God nor would it want to hear anything about or fro
m God. If it is for their hatred for God, you want to go back to them, and in th
e long run receive your reward, the option is yours. I do not want anybody to sa
y, he is being punished because of Brotherhood or, he is suffering because of Br
other Obu. If you should say you are suffering because of Brother Obu, then for
whose sake is Brother Obu Himself suffering? You complain, it is because you are
in Brotherhood that is why you are poor and ask people for money. Do not consti
tute yourself into a problem to the brethren, go back and enjoy your affluence i
n the world.
Before any person embarks upon any programme, or is initiated into any organisat
ion it is only reasonable, he should find out its aims and objectives, analysing
the costs and the benefits. God cannot be compared to man. Before this fulfilme
nt, He had already revealed the implications to His children. All those who expr
ess their inability or unwillingness to come to Brotherhood have already examine
d and weighed the consequences of their action and based on this, conclude, they
would not withstand all the allegations and calumny. But remember, Our Lord Jes
us Christ had said, "He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy
of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And
he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me." (Mat
thew Chapter 10 verses 37 and 38). Again it is written, "For which of you, inten
ding to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he
have sufficient to finish it? Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, an
d is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, Saying, This m
an began to build, and was not able to finish. Or what king, going to make war a
gainst another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able w
ith ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand? Or el
se, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desiret
h conditions of peace. So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not al
l that he hath, he cannot be my disciple." (Luke Chapter 14 verses 28 to 33).
Every man has his own burden to carry. I am carrying mine and you are carrying y
ours. Already, I am a victim of all sorts of persecutions but you still would wa
nt to add more to it. Your mother cannot save you. Your father cannot save you.
Your children cannot save you. Each person has himself to save. Our Lord Jesus C
hrist hinted on this when he said, "And from the days of John the Baptist until
now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force."
(Matthew Chapter 11 verse 12).
Your problem is, you are not prepared to suffer. Many people do not like to read
the Bible. Some read but are not appreciative of what is contained in it. There
are some who believe and trust in Our Lord Jesus Christ, but are quite unwillin
g to let go of the carnal things of the world. Do not hold the opinion that many
do not know Brotherhood. If that, were right, from where would the propaganda c
ome? You would come across people who, through their actions show their implicit
faith in what you do. You may be amazed, questioning why such people have not c
ome into the fold.
Do you remember what happened to Saul, later called Paul? He was a lawyer and a
strict pharisee. When he heard about the strange teachings of Our Lord Jesus Chr
ist he thought the strange teachings would annul the Hebrew doctrines, thus he p
ut up stiff opposition against them. He was a Youth Leader. He was also present
when Stephen was stoned. Stephen's garment was even left in his possession. Unde
r his leadership, many of the apostles were imprisoned, tortured, burnt at stake
and murdered. You have also heard how he received authority from the Chief Prie
sts and Pharisees to go to Damascus and persecute and arrest whoever would be fo
und calling upon, and preaching in the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Finally, w
hen he was caught by Our Lord Jesus Christ, he became a wanted man in Damascus a
nd in many other places. When his former colleagues and important friends heard,
he was preaching the Christ more vehemently than any other disciple, they vowed
to kill him. He had no way of escape and had to be lowered from over the city w
all in a basket. From that time henceforth, he was persecuted against even in Je
rusalem.
For the sake of the gospel, James, the Brother of John was killed. For this same
reason was Peter and others who preached in that name tortured, imprisoned, cru
cified, and killed. Whatever was done to the Israelites will be done to the Gent
iles. Many people are saying, such a thing is nonsensical, it cannot happen in t
his age. Right now, is history not repeating itself?
Your parents, relations, thieves, necromancers advise and pressure you to withdr
aw from Brotherhood. They even refuse you any form of aid. Do not be annoyed wit
h a backslider because he is a victim of calumny and threats which, weighing dow
n on him, instill fear and force him out of line.
You are true witnesses to the fact, if you do not sum up enough courage, you can
not put on your white soutane to the office. Have you not been called such names
as priest, angel, Christ, Jehovah, and for fear of this, you do not put it on?
You can only find Civil Servants who are Brotherhood members putting on French s
uits or jumpers, in order to keep their jobs.
Every person has seen Brotherhood in its correct perspective, but is only afraid
of allegations and calumnies. They are not responsible for what is happening. W
hat you see is the predictions of God coming true. Listen attentively to the fir
st lesson and take home what you hear.
First Bible Lesson: Matthew Chapter 24 verse 9
"Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shal
l be hated of all nations for my name's sake."
What lesson have you drawn from what you have heard read to you? Do you construe
it to be the truth or do you think it is falsehood? Many of you are erring ever
yday because Our Lord Jesus Christ had already told you what would happen. You p
ersuade people to come to Brotherhood so their problems may be solved and, they
will be enriched. But Our Lord Jesus Christ did not hide this hard fact. He open
ly told us, "They deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye sha
ll be hated of all nations for my name's sake."
You are not hated because you have committed any act of sin. These things happen
in fulfillment of the scriptures. Why do you then constitute yourself as a burd
en to others? Why do you complain about one thing or the other? Withdraw if you
care. You complain of having no more money, of friends deserting you, of losing
your landed property to people all because of Brotherhood. You have the option t
o go back to the world in order to enjoy your landed property, friends; so you m
ay have money. From time immemorial we have been used to such complaints.
If Moses had accepted the sonship of Pharaoh's daughter, he would have remained
in the exalted position in the King's palace. But he rejected the glory of this
world for an eternal glory of the Kingdom of God. Our Lord Jesus Christ who was
the Son of Man, Son of God and God Himself, left all His glories to suffer blasp
hemy, tribulation and death on the cross for the sake of this glory. The moment
you declare in your office, you are a man of God, gird your loins because people
will wage war against you. If you should declare for Satan, they will shake han
ds with you and embrace you.
This is not what you should be sad or sorrowful about. You do not need to ask pe
ople what to do in order not to be hated. This is why the doors to the Kingdom o
f God are opened but people cannot enter. As it is said in the psalms, "...To da
y if ye will hear his voice, Harden not your hearts..." (Psalm 95 verses 7 and 8
). Again Our Lord Jesus Christ said, "For I say unto you, That except your right
eousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall i
n no case enter into the kingdom of heaven." (Matthew Chapter 5 verse 20). Also
He said, "Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hat
e you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye
may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to
rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust
." (Matthew Chapter 5 verses 44 and 45).
Brethren, we have no reason to complain about why we are hated or spoken evil ag
ainst. It is the only channel through which we all must pass. Our Lord Jesus Chr
ist has a share in it, you and I and all those, who have the intention of enteri
ng into the Kingdom have a share in it. It is left for you to resolve whether yo
u will withstand the persecution, allegation or storm of life; or if you will fa
ll out. It indicates why Paul the Apostle asked: "Who shall separate us from the
love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or n
akedness, or peril, or sword?" (Romans Chapter 8 verse 35). In answer to the que
stion he said, "Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him
that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, no
r principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height
, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love
of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans Chapter 8 verses 37 to 39).
I do not feel, the conditions experienced are new to Brotherhood. They had exist
ed from the beginning of time. The conditions had always been, he who fights and
wins will be crowned at the end. When a leopard cannot withstand a fight, it in
vites a lion. Our Lord Jesus Christ, understanding the intricacies said, "Nevert
heless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go
not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send hi
m unto you." (John Chapter 16 verse 7). We in this generation are the luckiest,
because of the arrival of the Holy Spirit in our time. If the Holy Spirit had no
t arrived, we would have experienced untold hardship and situations. He has come
to salvage us.
Remember the parable of Our Lord Jesus Christ about a certain householder, which
planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it, an
d built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country: And
when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, th
at they might receive the fruits of it. And the husbandmen took his servants, an
d beat one, and killed another, and stoned another. Again, he sent other servant
s more than the first: and they did unto them likewise. But last of all he sent
unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son. But when the husbandmen s
aw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him,
and let us seize on his inheritance. And they caught him, and cast him out of t
he vineyard, and slew him. (Matthew Chapter 21 verses 33 to 39).
The Jews killed Our Lord Jesus Christ because He said, "I am the Son of God." Wh
at you see is no child's play. The situation you find yourself in is no joke. As
at now, Satan knows that after he had been thrown out of the Kingdom, he is a f
inished man. For that reason, he is struggling with strong determination not to
stay alone. The situation can be compared to, the behaviour of a murderer on rea
lizing, he is finished. Any person around him is regarded as an enemy and can be
injured.
However, "When the lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto t
hose husbandmen? They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men,
and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the
fruits in their seasons." (Matthew Chapter 21 verses 40 and 41).
If you read through the Revelation of John, chapters nineteen and twenty, you wi
ll come face to face with this truth. God had revealed all that would happen at
this age. This is the final era. The world finds no pleasure in behaving as it d
oes. It is the evil one infusing evil spirits into them to act. Remember, this i
s a spiritual war, the Armageddon. You are also being changed over. That is why,
you are adorned and advised to refrain from drinking, fornication, and taking a
ny form of medication. These are the fruits of the evil one, the Satan.
If the Father, Son and Holy Spirit had not arrived, it would have been a hercule
an task. You are enticed with wine, money, marriage, wealth and glorious names i
nto perdition. Unfortunately for them, the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit has c
ome down. When they sensed his presence, they thought Him to be a small cranky f
ellow who could be thrown out at any moment. But even the way He has come, is no
t in consonance with their expectations of His flying down like a bird.
Continually, satan is devising ways and means of trapping you. Many a times you
are confronted with questions about the origin of Brotherhood and the deity of y
our leader. At Other times, spies clothed in white soutane have come into your m
idst, but you know them not. They have planned in their usual way, as in the day
s of old. They are now tongue-tied and do not even know what to say. All avenues
and loopholes which could have enhanced their success have been sealed. Do you
know what they now say? They are saying, Brotherhood is not a Christian denomina
tion; it neither knows God nor Our Lord Jesus Christ. They end up saying, they d
o not welcome its existence.
Do not worry your mind about them. I have out of my own freewill sent you to sal
vage them from their ruins, yet they are saying they do not want it. Who loses?
Our Lord Jesus Christ had twelve disciples whom people thought would be left lik
e sheep without a shepherd. It will not be so in this final period. Out of the b
lues, has He come, in fulfillment of that, which is pre-ordained in the Scriptur
es, that He will come like a thief in the night. From all indications, He has co
me. A careful look at all places you go to, reveals this fact. Anywhere you ente
r you find them scattered around. Some people have left their villages and clans
to seek refuge in other places. The propaganda and allegation now going on is t
hat Brotherhood is rendering their charms and juju useless and ineffective.
They have now exhausted all their avenues to salvation and have found no other t
hing to say. They are at their wits end. Now they have resorted to saying, Broth
erhood is no Christian denomination. Truly, it is no church but the new Kingdom
of God. It cannot be linked with any kind of religion. The churches are indulgin
g in the very acts Our Lord Jesus Christ condemned. They are neck-deep in such s
ins as drinking, fornicating, snuffing and hatred. Brotherhood people neither dr
ink, fornicate, snuff, tell lies, nor do any of those things. Yet our accusers a
cclaim themselves as Christians. They are simply rendering their nunc dimitis. I
t could be likened to a wife who, for want of what to tell the husband, would sa
y, water had stuck to her teeth.
When they allege, you are worshiping man, what are the Moslems, Hindus, Rosicruc
ians, Pagans, and others doing? They are crying wolf where there is no wolf. Can
you not see, the world is lamenting? They are in peril but we have everything i
n abundance. There is food, love, wisdom, truth, power, children, truth and othe
r virtues of God. What is it, you want from them? They are those needing help fr
om us. You are in heaven. You are more powerful, faithful and knowledgeable. I h
ave told you to go and salvage them but they have refused. And I am saying, they
will seek for you later. Brethren, the second Bible lesson will now be read
Second Bible Lesson: John Chapter 15 verse 18
"If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you."
Is this statement strange to you? Now, you complain to Our Lord Jesus Christ, to
whom will He lay His complaints? If you complain, you are hated because of Our
Lord Jesus Christ, did they not first hate Him? For whose sake was He hated? The
world hates you, because it first hated Him.
I would disagree with any person who says, he loves somebody's children and not
the Father. In the same token, if you do not honour the Son, you cannot honour t
he Father. Whoever does not love Brotherhood does not love God; whoever loves Go
d, must love Brotherhood. Our Lord Jesus Christ did not hide anything when He sa
id, the world hates you, because it first hated me. But he consoled you, when He
said, He would come back to you. Tell me truly, if Our Lord Jesus Christ were n
ot to be in the world with us, where do you think the world would have been? You
r enemy can never speak good about you.
Upon all, Our Lord Jesus Christ did, they did not believe in Him. Instead, they
murmured and question saying: "Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose fathe
r and mother we know? how is it then that he saith, I came down from heaven?" (J
ohn Chapter 6 verse 42). He later told them to believe His works if they believe
d Him not. (John Chapter 10 verse 38).
If somebody pretends to be asleep, he will not wake up no matter how much you sh
ake him up. But if you shake a person who is fast asleep, you will notice him wa
king up with a start. I want to tell you, it is not the Herald nor the Televisio
n nor the Radio that reveals Brotherhood. People had already known Brotherhood t
o a great extent than yourself. What you see them do is the work of their father
s. They have done everything their fathers did and have reached the blind alley.
The plans and plots are empty and void as far as this generation is concerned.
Have you ever found Satan preaching the gospel? Necromancers and juju priests de
test seeing the Bible. However, in this case, it is Satan preaching the Bible. W
hen you sing spiritual songs and walk past the streets all elementary spirits of
the Universe are subdued. When they notice this they would warn you against ren
dering their charms ineffective.
We sing, preach and yet we are nicknamed: vampire, draculars, beelzebub, and the
like. They are only doing their father's work. Their cries, incantations and mo
urnings do not amount to anything. What is going on is a spiritual warfare. When
they embark on blackmail, calumny and propaganda, they are merely engaging in t
hat war.
Your duty is to rise up and preach the attributes of Christ. Be not disturbed. T
he war our forefathers could not wage has been fought and conquered for us. They
use empty and vain words to fight but we show the attributes of God. You would
recall, what led to Stephen's death, he out-witted a Pharisee in a discussion. T
hey were moving along the road, discussing. But on realizing, Stephen had out-wi
tted him, the Pharisee planned with those around and they bore false witness aga
inst Stephen.
In a similar way was Our Lord Jesus Christ conspired against. Again they have co
nspired to destroy this new Kingdom of God, saying, Brotherhood does not encoura
ge their members to go to school. Upon all, they say, here we have people in all
spheres of endeavors. There are lawyers, doctors, engineers, bankers and underg
raduates scattered all over. Members of the armed forces are surprisingly also h
ere; some are holding high positions of responsibility.
Carnal weapons are not used in this war. I warn you against removing or destroyi
ng anybody's charms. Why do you even call such things evil? You should realize,
they have been anxiously lying in wait to get hold of you, and capitalize on the
slightest opportunity. They can even arrest you for surrounding and offering pr
ayers at a shrine. When singing, do not touch anything. Leave them all alone and
watch for results. Today is different from yesterday. All their plots have fail
ed. That is why, they rather now argue, there is something demonic about what yo
u have done and, you are simply camouflaging with Christ.
When you are preaching, do not speak about the Leader. Preach the gospel of God,
telling them to refrain from such sins as drinking, smoking, fornicating, backb
iting and whoremongering. If any of them should mention the name of the Leader i
n the course of your preaching, discourage him. Mentioning the name of the Leade
r is like casting your precious gem before the swine. You will recall when Our L
ord Jesus Christ asked His disciples: "Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?
And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others
, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I a
m? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living
God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jona: fo
r flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heav
en." (Matthew Chapter 16 verses 13 to 17).
He strictly charged the disciples to tell no one, He was the Christ. The discipl
es held all these things to themselves, and said nothing about it. If they had m
entioned it to any man, Our Lord Jesus Christ would not have operated for up to
one year.
Why, Peter and others were killed was, they preached that Our Lord Jesus Christ
was the Son of God. Declaring, Our Lord Jesus Christ is God is not a way of assi
milating or practising the words of God.
This chapter has, however, been closed. That is why, it has been said, "This is
the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith t
he Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and
I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: And they shall not t
each every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord:
for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. For I will be merciful to
their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no m
ore." (Hebrews Chapter 8 verses 10 to 12). You should realize, you are no longer
living in the flesh but in the spirit.
God is revealing Himself to the world. Now is the operation of the Holy Spirit.
I tell you one thing, the Crusaders in Lagos simply go about preaching the gospe
l. When asked about the Father, they maintain, the Father would reveal Himself t
o them before long. And truly He has been revealing Himself to them, for which t
hey testify.
Before the Crusaders arrived in Trinidad, many had already known the Leader. The
Police Officer who was with them had already known the Leader. There is no use
telling a white man, Olumba Olumba Obu is God. Take the person of Chukwu, who wo
uld have preached to convert him? The Father revealed Himself to him. In India,
America and other places, the Father has already revealed Himself to the people.
Quite unlike the kind of thing you do here, they have implicit faith. Sister Ma
rts, an Irish American, testified here that the Father revealed Himself to her w
hen she was still very small. Sister Gloria, who had a similar experience can te
ll you more about the Father than what you think you know.
The enmity that existed is no more. You are persistently told to separate yourse
lf from the world. Listen to your spirit and not to any man. That generation hat
ed me and did all kinds of things against me. Whatever was done to, or spoken ag
ainst me must also be done against you. Whoever is Brotherhood loves me and whoe
ver loves me, loves you. Whoever loves you loves Christ and whoever loves Christ
, loves God.
Sometimes, you place a condition before God, if a barren woman should give birth
you would believe and worship God. Such cases do not need fasting; do not even
pray. It amounts to tempting God. This is another strategy of satan. You will re
call, when the tempter told Our Lord Jesus Christ, if you are the Son of God, co
mmand that this stone become bread; Our Lord Jesus Christ did not do anything bu
t rather answered, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that pr
oceedeth out of the mouth of God." (Matthew Chapter 4 verse 4).
Why is it, when Satan questions you about the Leader, you begin to make statemen
ts. That is insolence. Sometimes you are summoned before the village Head or the
Magistrate to answer certain queries. Whatever statements of defence you make b
efore your enemies will pull no weight. Your case had already been arbitrarily p
redetermined. When the Chief priests and the elders of the people came to Him as
He was teaching and said, "By what authority doest thou these things? and who g
ave thee this authority? And Jesus answered and said unto them, I also will ask
you one thing, which if ye tell me, I in like wise will tell you by what authori
ty I do these things. The baptism of John, whence was it? from heaven, or of men
? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he wi
ll say unto us, Why did ye not then believe him? But if we shall say, Of men; we
fear the people; for all hold John as a prophet. And they answered Jesus, and s
aid, We cannot tell. And he said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority
I do these things." (Matthew Chapter 21 verses 24 to 27).
Can you not use the same method of answering questions with questions? When some
body asks you what you think your Leader is, ask the person who he thinks Our Lo
rd Jesus Christ to be. Where he says he does not know, tell him, you do not know
because he knows that the moment he tells you, Our Lord Jesus Christ is the Son
of God and God Himself, you will ask him to believe His words. If you are asked
whether your Leader is God, ask the person whether he has ever seen God and if
so what He looks like. He will be forced to end up. Do not bother your head in l
ong and unnecessary explanations.
"When they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Pete
r, and said, Doth not your master pay tribute? He saith, Yes. And when he was co
me into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? of wh
om do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or o
f strangers? Peter saith unto him, Of strangers. Jesus saith unto him, Then are
the children free. Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the s
ea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou h
ast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto
them for me and thee." (Matthew Chapter 17 verses 24 to 27).
The gospel of today is for those who think negatively. It is for those who feel
they are hated and despised for being members of Brotherhood. And those who thin
k Brotherhood members are trouble makers. Before they hate the gospel of God, th
ey first hated God. Do not pick a quarrel with any person for any reason, whatev
er. They are only staging a part of the drama in the Divine plan; each person pl
aying his part. If they first hated Our Lord Jesus Christ, and are now hating yo
u, is it not a thing of joy to you? I do not intend to take you further than thi
s, our golden text will now be read. This gospel should be shown to the world in
black and white.
Golden Text: Acts Chapter 28 verse 22
"But we desire to hear of thee what thou thinkest: for as concerning this sect,
we know that every where it is spoken against."
Do you understand that? Any village or city you enter, you are spoken against. T
hey complain of Brotherhood causing insurrection in all nooks and corners. You a
re accused of destroying their diabolical powers. When they write to you to atte
nd their functions, you donate generously to them, yet they still turn round to
accuse you of many things. This is because it had so been written. History is si
mply repeating itself. Any person who intends to be righteous is always hated an
d spoken against. This explains why many people digress from the way of truth. E
veryone thrives in doing evil, and paying back evil for evil. Any person who doe
s evil will be feared and respected by society. No person ever tries to do anyth
ing affirmative in his presence for fear of being rewarded.
It was because the sacrifice offered by his brother was acceptable in the sight
of God, but his own sacrifice was not accepted that Cain killed Abel. When your
work is good, you are bound to be hated by the world. In your family, if you are
truthful, if you have love, every person, including your parents will hate you.
If the village people want to burn somebody; if they want to extort something f
rom a person and you appear to protest against such tendency, they will hate you
.
Why was John the Baptist killed? He had shown to Herod the King his evil ways as
he married the wife of his paternal brother. And also pointed out to him other
evil things he had committed. It was from there that John the Baptist was killed
. And that was why when that little girl was dancing before King Herod, he assur
ed her, whatever she would pledge before him as a request he would do it for her
. She ran to her mother, the very woman whom John the Baptist had advised Herod
not to marry, and the woman seized that opportunity to revenge him.
We have a spiritual chorus which says, "who will receive the grace of God?" And
the answer is: "the Children of God. Who will go empty-handed? Satan will go emp
ty handed." This girl, her mother and Herod the King, returned empty handed. Thi
s is so because when Herod told her, whatever she requested of him he would give
it to her, the mother would have advised her to tell Herod to abdicate the thro
ne so she might rule in his stead. That would have been a better offer.
Instead of her mother telling her to go and tell Herod to split all his wealth a
nd give her one part of it, she simply seized that opportunity and instructed he
r daughter to go and request the head of John the Baptist on a plate. What was s
he going to do with John's head? It is true, the world does not love any man who
tells the truth, But: do you wish to perish in falsehood? Has history said anyt
hing about that woman or about her daughter or about Herod the King? Rather, you
have only heard about John the Baptist.
To die with Our Lord Jesus Christ is to die in the truth. And Our Lord Jesus Chr
ist said, "Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will
do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because t
here is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he
is a liar, and the father of it." (John Chapter 8 verse 44).
All the lies flooding the whole world today, Satan is the father of them. You ca
n see how the world has referred to the truth as falsehood. Look at how they hav
e regarded what is white as black. Brotherhood which is God, which is truth, whi
ch is love, which is every good thing, they rather call Beelzebub, ghost, appari
tion, witchcraft, vampire, and every bad name one can think of. They have reache
d their wits end and they are now faced with disgrace.
Therefore, do not lend your ears to them again because they have now been unveil
ed. As you have been hitting your heads on the floor here, they always confront
you to explain the precise meaning of such a mode of worship. Do not give them a
ny answer at all. They will tell you, when the Leader bends to do likewise, He u
sually goes there to do certain secret things. They will criticize about the flo
wers placed here at the altar. And they will profess that the flowers are placed
there as elements of charms. When they seek to know why each of the tables are
kept in such positions, and you begin to elucidate you condemn yourself to their
stupidity.
You have heard what has been read to you today, "Then shall they deliver you up
to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my
name's sake." (Matthew Chapter 24 verse 9). Have these not been made manifest t
oday? Why do they not hate necromancers? Why do they not hate soothsayers? Why d
o they not hate the members of Ogboni society? Why do they not hate those who pr
ofess to conglomerate in ecumenical council and plan, they are going to develop
witchcraft and use it for the furtherance of God's work in the world? And they h
ave done it indeed under a distinctive name known to many people.
All the unmarried women have formed themselves into an Association and have give
n it a particular name. Why are they not hated by the people of the world? In Am
erica, we have a church referred to as the church of Satan. Inside that church,
they can kill, they can commit any atrocity. Why are they not hated by the peopl
e of the world?
In the European countries, people are making blasphemous statements against the
personality of Our Lord Jesus Christ through television and mass media. Why are
they not hated? The Russians do not know anything about Our Lord Jesus Christ. T
he Moslems also do not know anything about Our Lord Jesus Christ. Why do the peo
ple of the world not speak evil against these persons? In the whole of the Feder
ation of Nigeria, how many people call upon Our Lord Jesus Christ? How many of t
hem know Our Lord Jesus Christ?
He himself knows that no person believes in Him. That is why, He had asked the p
eople why they called Him Lord! When they did not carry out the will of His Fath
er. But at this fullness of time when the Holy Spirit has started His work, and
He is in operation, the worldly people begin to talk and say all manner of thing
s. Why do you look at them?
We have to rejoice because all the words of God are fulfilled in you. With this
Gospel, you should not bother yourself about anything. When Our Lord Jesus Chris
t was brought before Pilate, the Governor, all evil things were said against Him
. And Pilate said, "Hearest thou not how many things they witness against thee?"
(Matthew Chapter 27 verse 13). What do you think He would have given to them as
an answer? What would He have said to Satan? Have you ever seen a man of God di
scharged and acquitted before the court of Satan?
What did Our Lord Jesus Christ do? And Pilate himself had declared, "Ye have bro
ught this man unto me, as one that perverteth the people: and, behold, I, having
examined him before you, have found no fault in this man touching those things
whereof ye accuse him: No, nor yet Herod: for I sent you to him; and, lo, nothin
g worthy of death is done unto him... I will therefore chastise him, and release
him..." But all of them said in unison, "Crucify him, crucify him."
They knew, Barabbas was a murderer and a thief, and he was a notorious prisoner.
But they cried out all at once, saying, "Away with this man, and release unto u
s Barabbas." And he asked them saying, " Why, what evil hath he done? I have fou
nd no cause of death in him: I will therefore chastise him, and let him go. And
they were instant with loud voices, requiring that he might be crucified." Would
this alone not strike fear in you for always attaching yourself with the people
of the world? Are you not always afraid to walk amongst the people of the world
? The moment you go into their midst, they make certain allegations against you.
They will surround you and speak in one voice because their duty is that of des
truction. If you are taken before the village Head, is he not their Chief? What
defense are you going to put up to exonerate yourself? Before you begin to say a
nything, he will demand that a bottle of strong drink be brought. And he will te
ll you; young man, Brotherhood members are very troublesome in the village. He w
ill always speak in their favor.
Should you be taken to the court, the magistrate will put up the same argument,
Brotherhood members are trouble makers. If you wish to make any defense, he woul
d order, you shut up your mouth.
Can you understand what is happening in the world? And this is why Our Lord Jesu
s Christ said, "My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this worl
d, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but
now is my kingdom not from hence." (John Chapter 18 verse 36). We are so numero
us, we are capable of doing anything we want to do. When you are going among the
m be very crafty and keep in check the words which proceed out of your mouth. Th
ey are anxiously awaiting whatever comes out of your mouths in order to use it i
n calumny and allegations against you.
DISSEMINATE THE GOSPEL TO ALL:
I want this Gospel to be disseminated to every body, so they realize what Our Lo
rd Jesus Christ said, "Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall
kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake." (Matthew Ch
apter 24 verse 9). And also, "If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me be
fore it hated you." (John Chapter 15 verse 18).
Are these not fulfilled today? Are all that was done to Our Lord Jesus Christ, n
ot repeated again today?
The people consistently maintain: "But we desire to hear of thee what thou think
est: for as concerning this sect, we know that every where it is spoken against.
" (Acts Chapter 28 verse 22).
Everywhere you go, among the old and the young, the people speak evil against Br
otherhood. They allege that Brotherhood is Beelzebub; drinks, it is an embodimen
t of all evil; and they claim Brotherhood members are damned. Have you not reali
zed this reality?
Whatever happens from day to day is towards the manifestation of the Word of God
. Serve God only and listen to God and do not lend your ears to the world again.
Your brother or sister who is in the world does not love you and will never spe
ak well of you. He will not like to see you and will be a party to any meeting h
eld to hatch plans to kill you. He will conspire with others that you be killed
because in his estimation, you have caused much trouble in the family. It is not
their wish to show such a behavior.
If Our Lord Jesus Christ had said, "Then shall they deliver you up to be afflict
ed and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake;"
why do you still doubt? I on my part, am gladly receiving it. Again, He had sai
d, "If the world hates you, know you, it hated me before it hated you." That the
y first hated Him before hating you, what harm did they do to Him? Therefore, yo
u should remain joyous over whatever confronts you.
If from the time of our ancestors, every person had been speaking against this o
rganization, what then is your problem? It is only because you neither read the
Holy Bible nor listen to the gospel of God nor are you a believer in God.
All that beset Our Lord Jesus Christ are those things which were written about H
im. Whatever is not written by God Himself, cannot materialize. That is why Our
Lord Jesus Christ told Pilate, the governor, "Thou couldest have no power at all
against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered m
e unto thee hath the greater sin." (John Chapter 19 verse 11).
Whatever any person is doing in the world, it is only to the extent that God has
given him that power. It is on this premise, you should not curse them or claim
, they are responsible, for such it is. Refrain from causing any trouble but sho
w the expression of love to them.
The doctrine of this New Kingdom of God is, you should love them, satisfy their
needs, bless them, do whatever is good for them. When people make allegations ag
ainst you, show to them this portion of the Scripture that it is the manifestati
on of the Word of God.
You may not be known by your visual appearance that you are a Child of God. But
by your behavior and the manner you conduct yourself you will reveal yourself as
a Child of God. If yesterday, you had contemplated doing one thing or the other
to your family in order to earn their love for Brotherhood, you are doing it fo
r nothing. For that will never cause them to love Brotherhood. If you also claim
, since they have not spoken well about Brotherhood, you are not prepared to do
anything good for the family, you are merely wasting your time.
Continue in your well-doing. Let them accomplish their own part of the job and y
ou must do your own. They are carrying out the handiwork of their father. You sh
ould continue to do the work of your Father also. It is said, whoever does right
eousness is as righteous as He is Righteous. He who commits evil is of the Satan
because Satan delights in evil.
This is the close of the era and the work of Satan is to be revealed along with
that of the Almighty God. We have cause to rejoice because at no point in time h
ave the Children of God been so numerous as they are today. We have everything a
s well as our own city and institutions. We do not request for food from Satan.
Instead, it is Satan who begs us for what to eat. They have no other alternative
than to come here for all their needs. Because God knows all their wits.
The Holy Spirit has cemented such loopholes, laid the foundation and has opened
the gate of mercy to all the begotten of God. He has seized all their powers bec
ause He alone is the custodian of power. Their wisdom, love and all other talent
s have all been Confiscated and vested ineffective.
In the past, any person who opted to serve God was denied food, accommodation an
d everything. Of course, when hit with acute starvation, such people were forced
to resign so as to serve Satan. But, on a happy note, such a thing cannot happe
n today. Now if they are sick, they run here for healing. If they want to know w
hat the future holds, they race here for visions. If they want love, they come h
ere to receive it. If they want truthfulness, it is here, they come to get it. I
f they want wealth, good health, dancing, songs, peace and all the things of lif
e, it is from here that such things are obtained.
Satan in all its ramifications is an agent of trouble. If you want to marry a be
autiful woman, she would demand, you should go over to her own church as a condi
tion to get her as your wife. If you are seeking employment, the person in charg
e would demand, unless you are prepared to declare for his denomination you will
not be given any job. In the office, if you are due for promotion, your boss wo
uld seek, you become a member of his secret society in order to gain promotion.
You should not be infuriated with those who join the different societies, for it
is not out of their wish to do so. But they do so to satisfy the whims and capr
ices of certain highly placed and privileged persons in the world, who will neve
r grant them their rights until they satisfy such a condition.
However, in Brotherhood, God has rendered such tendencies null and void. The mom
ent you backslide and start to worship Satan, you are bound to face destruction.
You will remember the reply of Our Lord Jesus Christ when the devil, "taking Hi
m up into a high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a mo
ment of time. And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and
the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I giv
e it. If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine. And Jesus answered
and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt wors
hip the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve." (Luke Chapter 4 verses 5 t
o 8).
I am very thankful to God for the covenant He has entered into with the house of
Israel. If He had not written His commandment into our hearts, we would have pe
rished. If at a certain time you do not see a Brotherhood member, know Satan has
 taken him into the wilderness. But Satan himself is ignorant of the fact, God h
as written His name on the body of that person. After some time, you will see hi
m shaking off such evil knots and bouncing back to Brotherhood. Satan will alway
s remain there in grief.
If you go from the world to preach to a Brotherhood member in order that he may
backslide, he will rather convert you into Brotherhood. That is why, wherever a
Brotherhood member is found, in the office, in the churches; people become appre
hensive, he would win all the people there into Brotherhood. This is to show to
you, we have every cause to rejoice immensely because the Promised Comforter has
come to us. Today we have the Counselor and He has overcome, He has conquered a
nd therefore the Children of God have also conquered.
This Gospel is preached for a mere formality because the Father has already over
come everything. So that the new members who are now quaking and shivering may f
ind their feet on the ground. Also those who continue to blaspheme against Broth
erhood may realize, they are trying to cause the Word of God to be made manifest
. Show to them this Gospel, so they may mirror themselves as baseless people. Sa
tan can call to himself millions of witnesses for the lies he has hatched agains
t somebody. But God is the truth. It can be likened to the mustard seed. And the
truth must continue to prevail forever. Satan had declared, if the Leader would
live up to December, 1977, He should be declared as the Almighty God. But now,
after so many years, here am I standing. All the churches lately congregated and
declared, the Leader had died. As a result of this, those who lacked faith, in
the course of coming to ascertain the authenticity of such a statement ended up
becoming Brotherhood members. This alone has brought in so many members into thi
s fold. Up till date, those with the inscription, 'C', (which means condemned) o
n their foreheads are still believing that the Leader is dead. Even when they se
e Him on the Television they continue to proclaim, it is not the Leader but His
identical twin brother. If it is true, the Leader had died but that His brother
is operating in His stead, and the work is experiencing a snowballing progress,
it tantamounts to the fact, it is the work of God.
Their intention had remained, the moment they declared, the Leader is dead, the
work of God would also be dead and buried. But when they declared, He is dead, t
he work continues to expand.
They were prophesying as Caiaphas said, He must die in the flesh and live in the
spirit. Against this base, the manifestation of their prophesy has come for the
Father died in the flesh and now lives in the spirit. You have two ears you can
only hear through one ear. Also you have two eyes but it is only with one eye,
you see. The eye of Jehovah God is upon the righteous and His ears hearken to th
em.
From now on look at Brotherhood, listen to Brotherhood and pay deaf ears to the
people of the world. For it is there, your problem had remained. All the noise m
ade by the worldly people is to precipitate confusion. Little do they realize, t
he hands holding you will never let you go.
Right now many people throughout the whole world are coming here. The entire peo
ple of the world are swimming in an ocean of shame. If you go to tell any person
that Olumba Olumba Obu is dead, such a person would demand, you get away from h
im and, he did not know, you could tell such a lie. He would argue with you, the
man is alive and kicking.
Brethren I do not wish to overload you. It is said, one stroke of the cane is su
fficient for the wise. Those who have ears, let them hear. May God bless His Hol
