Tech for Learning Initiative Summer Institute


August 14-16 in NYC
Join us in August for the Tech for
Learning Initiative Summer Institute!
School teams will explore theories
behind integrating technology with
learning, hear from experts in the field,
and create a plan for piloting new
technology projects in their schools.
After completing the Institute, schools
will be eligible to submit applications for
microgrants of up to $5,000 to help put
their plans into action.

Summer is here and school is letting
out, creating space for teachers to relax
and take time to recharge. Many of you
will also take time for some planning
and learning over the summer. Don't

The International Society for
Technology in Education (ISTE)
Conference is just around the corner!
DJLN's Director Gary Hartstein will be
at ISTE and would love to discuss your
school's EdTech needs. Contact Gary
before the conference to schedule a
time to meet. Gary can also tell you all
about our professional development
offerings!

DJLN's Tatyana Dvorkin and Gary Hartstein are presenting a session called
Grown Ups Get Bored Too! Engaging Adults in PD at the conference on
Monday, June 26 at 10:00am. Be sure to stop by to hear about making
professional development more interactive, engaging, and meaningful.

This year at ISTE there is also a special opportunity for Jewish educators: the
Jewish Educators Network Meetup will take place on Monday, June 26 at
5:30pm.
