Ballon DOr and is the most import European player in this award.
He was born 5th February 1985 in Portugal and he spent his childhood in a neighbourhood
of Funchal, Madeira, where his mother was a cook and his father was a municipal
gardener. As a child, he played in an amateur team Andorihna, then with local club
National. Since age 12, he became a professional footballer player with Sporting CP, he
was diagnosed with a problem in his heart however.
