1. PERSONAL INFORMATION: He first studied at the University of the Philippines Diliman

major in Fine Arts for the first 2 years and then went to SLIMS fashion and arts school in the
Philippines. He furthered his studies in fashion and pattern making by studying a short course at
Central Saint Martin's College of Art and Design in London. In 1997, he moved to Dubai and
established his own couture house, Michael Cinco Haute Couture in 2003. His works were
featured in Dubai Fashion Week and Swarovski shows. In 2011, he won as Breakthrough
Designer in the WGSN Global Fashion Award held in New York City where he competed with
other international designers from the United Kingdom, Europe, Asia and America. He joined
the Miami Fashion Week where his swimwear collections and bejeweled gowns were featured.

Michaels celebrity clients include Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Carrie
Underwood, Kylie Minogue, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Ellie Goulding, Nicole
Scherzinger, Fergie Ferguson, Dita Von Teese, Brandy, Ashanti, Chris Brown, Tyra Banks,
Naomi Campbell. Jennifer Lopez wore a crystallized Michael Cinco couture when she hosted
American Music Awards in 2015. Sofia Vergara wore a stunning Michael Cinco gown at the
Golden Globes 2013, who was voted Best Dressed by many TV shows and magazines in the US.
British pop star Paloma Faith wore his couture dress at the MET Gala in New York. Michael also
designed several costumes for Mila Kunis for the sci-fi blockbuster movie Jupiter Ascending.
