All 7 welders who were doing work samples and some outstanding ISO 9606
joints were released to the floor. A few still need to complete their work
samples though. This information is on the server that is shared with RSE.

11 new welders are in training school for BT. The plan is to begin their ISO 9606
certification on 30 March 2016. After which the welders can start with their
work samples as they wait for the lab results. If all goes well we anticipate that
these welders will be released to the line by the end of May 2016. This time is
factoring in the lab testing for both ISO 9606 and work sample test pieces, as
well as the training required for the welders to successfully weld work samples.

There are issues that can delay this exercise even further and endanger the
project:

Work sample material availability

Welder failure rate
Speed of completion of assigned work samples (this depends on the
welder)

There are new welders coming in on the 1st of April according to RSE. We have
committed to a minimum of 8 weeks to train and certify these welders for the
line if all above issues are resolved.
