cited for my initiative, dedication, and self-motivation, supervised three associates in
maintenance in support of eight Apache helicopters and equipment in excess of $60 million.
Was credited with saving time and money by establishing procedures for cleaning vital
bolts, washers, and other components which previously had been replaced.
Supervised and replaced GE 701-C engines, transmissions, gear boxes, and blades.
Earned respect for sound judgment and contagious enthusiasm for meeting short notices
and ensuring aircraft are maintained and ready for service at all times.

Provided 250- and 500-hour phase maintenance which included inspection as well as
replacement of major components. Performed strict quality assurance inspections
according to precise specifications; became known as an astute problem solver.

HELICOPTER MECHANIC. Fort Rucker, AL, and Iraq (1999-03). Built and refined my
technical, mechanical, and leadership skills while becoming known as a reliable young
professional who could be counted on no matter how dangerous or difficult the situation.
Displayed my ability to work under pressure during an assignment in Iraq where 12-
hour days were the norm in a war-torn area of operations.
