1. INTRODUCTION
==============================
This PROMODEL release supports the following Operating Systems:

- Windows 2000 SP4 (English)

- Windows XP SP3 (English, German, Portuguese and Spanish)
- Windows Vista SP1 (English, German, Portuguese and Spanish)

It will run models created in earlier versions of the software (forward compatible)
and is backwards compatible with versions 4.5, 5.0, and 6.0 (when using Save
As...).

==============================
2. INSTALLATION
==============================
To install version 7.5, you do not need to uninstall previous versions of
the software. By default, version 7.5 is installed in the folder :

C:\Program Files\ProModel Corporation\ProModel\7.5

By installing verion 7.5 into a version specific folder, overwriting previous

versions of the software is avoided.

To install the software from a CD, place the CD in the CD-ROM drive and
install.exe should autorun. If your CD drive does not support autorun, double
click on the install.exe to initiate the installation program. You can also
install the software by double-clicking on the ProModel_StudentSetup.exe file
found in the ProMod directory on the CD.

3. KNOWN ANOMALIES
==============================

The software must be licensed by someone who has administrative privileges on

the computer.
When uninstalling 7.0, registry keys for ProModel, Output Viewer (3DR), and
the COM/ActiveX interface are removed. File association for MOD, SFT, RDB,
etc. files are also removed. The resolution is to perform a Repair of 7.5
from the Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel.
Write and Writeline statements using Loc(Location()), Ent(Entity()) and
Res(Resource()) write out name index numbers instead of the actual text names.
If an entity interrupts a location Entry DT and enters the location, the entry
is not counted towards the frequency of the next Entry DT.
If you change the simulation clock display to show the time in anything other
than by date, the CalHour() function will not work.
When obtaining scenario parameter values via COM/ActiveX, a blank value is
returned if the scenario parameter is set to use the default.
Once a downtime Node is specified for a resource downtime (clock or usage), the
node cannnot be set back to nothing/blank without deleting the whole downtime
record.
When specifying a priority in logic, the compiler in non-simulation mode allows
priorities greater than 999 to be specified. However, during simulation the
compiler will throw a run-time error.
SimRunner Help and StatFit Help files may not work on Windows Vista. The
solution for this can be found in the ProModel Solutions Cafe
(www.promodel.com/solutionscafe).
In the new Shift Editor, tooltips do not come up on the Quick Access toolbar
An Animate2.cpp error may occur when the relative path for a Graphics Library
points to a GLB file that cannot be found.
Snap to Grid does not work when sizing graphics. It only works when first
creating a shape (in the Graphic Editor and Background Graphics) and when
moving a graphic.
An error occurs if an array export file has VBA code in any Event method that
gets executed when opening a workbook.
DTLEFT() function returns the original length of the off-shift downtime and not
the actual remaining time.
In some models, the crane graphic paints background black as it moves within its

envelope.
An Animate3.cpp error may occur after installing the Microsoft IntelliMouse
software.
In Dynamic Plots, the resource utilization is not correct for the summary of a
resource with multiple units. The individual unit utilization is correct.
In Dynamic Plots, resource units are not saved after setting them.

send the package file to support because it includes any external files
