Glossary of Terms

RFS The Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) created by the EPA which sets
annual mandates required by refineries and blenders for renewable
transportation fuels sold or introduced into commerce in the United
States. The current RFS2 sets mandates through to 2022.

RIN The Renewable Identification Number

(RIN) system was created by the U.S.
Environmental Protection Agency to
facilitate compliance with the RFS and is
effectively its currency to credit trading.

RINs are transferred with the renewable

fuel sold through the distribution system
and ownership changes. Once finally sold
to the end user the RINs are separated
and used to prove RFS compliance.
Refiners and importers have the
responsibility of acquiring sufficient RINs
each year to meet their obligations .
For more information go to http://www.epa.gov/otaq/fuels/renewablefuels/index.htm
Market Size & Growth
For the advanced renewable
diesel we produce we get:-
1.7 x current biodiesel RIN price

RIN value increasing

50% biofuel by 2020
21 Billion Gallons by 2022
RFS2 mechanism of support RINs
11% blending mandatory for refineries
1.7 RINs for renewable diesel (D4 &D5)
Extent of Biomass Supply

Stage 1
635,000 bbl of refineries served within a
80kM radius, over 85 Million tonnes of
beetle infested dead trees shall be used
to create 11,000m3/day of biofuel (92
plants) for their 11% mandatory blending
requirements.
Extent of pine beetle infestation by 2030
Stage 4
1.7 million bbl of refineries can be served,
which means we could produce up to
29,500m3/day of biofuel (245 plants)

We can then shift to other states for

further expansion.

Phase 1 project site

Located in Mission, British Columbia (Canada)

7 Acre site fully permitted where operations started

nine (9) months ago, presently processing 200 tons
per day at this C&D MRF & RDF facility. RDF is sold
to local green houses.

The facility can expand to 2,100 TPD to suit the

growing needs in the waste field and local
regulations.

We have a letter of intent from them for a ten (10)

year supply of the feedstock we need plus the
option to purchase a portion of their land for our plant.

50% biofuel by 2020

Zero landfill by 2020

Phase 1 project feedstock

Facilities within 10km radius

Ten (10) saw mills source for

biomass feedstock plus river
access for barge delivery.
Four (4) green house farms
off-take for CO2 and waste heat.
One (1) waste transfer station
source for MSW + C&D feedstock
plus the site is on the main route
for landfilling of MSW.

680kM round trip saving

2,150TPD with 1497 TPD RDF
Phase 1 project off-take
Facilities within 80km radius

Five (5) refineries major off-take

customers with a total capacity of
635,000 bbl requiring 11% to be
blended with biofuel as per
regulations.

Option to retail directly the fuel to

the waste & other trucks

Three (3) fuel blenders minor

off-take customers. Presently we
have a letter of intent from Whole
Energy who is the largest biodiesel
marketer and distribution company
on the west coast of North America.
