MATTERS ARISING FROM THE MINUTES:

1 VENUE FOR ACQUAINTANCE PARTY
Mr. Dayon presented the result of the canvassing of the different venues for the Acquaintance Party.
This, according to him was done by the USG officers together with Mrs. Moises, the USG Adviser. The result
includes the following:

Venue: MAMBUKAL BUENOS AIRES SUNBURST

Expenses: P 70 P 55 P 45

Fare: P 80 P 80 P 20

Mr. Dayon said that the expenses he had presented include only the entrance fee, cottage for the
whole day activities and other miscellaneous. Foods, pool fee and other personal expenses are not included
He also said that the Mambukal Beach Resort can accommodate only upto 300 persons which means that
they cannot accommodate the TUPV for there are an estimated of 1,800 persons to join the activity including
the students, faculty and staffs. Then he discussed the next venue which is the Buenos Aires Resort. He said
that the place is wide having several cottages and a gym which is an advantage for us. He also reminded the
class mayors and officers that last year's Acquaintance Party was also held at Buenos Aires ao the place is
already familiar. Next, he discussed about Sunburst Resort. According to him, the place is small, with only
one pool. The management of Sunburst Resort didn't allow the TUPV to occupy the Resort exclusively which
means that they will allow outsiders during the Acquaintance Party

Mr. Dayon said that the canvassing for the Soleo Beach Resort was dismissed due to lack of time
by the USG officers to go to San Enrique considering the location of the place. Then the division of the house
followed. Buenos Aires Resort won having 37 votes followed by Mambukal Resort having 9 votes and lastly
Sunburst Resort with 3 votes.

It was agreed by the body that the Acquaintance Party for school year 2006-2007 will be held at
Buenos Aires Resort at Ma-ao, Bago City on July 29, 2006.

2 RULES AND ACTIVITIES DURING THE ACQUAINTANCE PARTY
Mr. Mark Mayongue asked if outsiders are allowed during the Acquaintance Party.Mr. Acaling moved
to have a votation whether or not to allow outsiders during the activity and it was seconded by Mr. Gaudiel. Then
the majority voted not to allow outsiders except those who are ex-TUPVians. It was then approved by the body
Mr. Quitco added that we should not forget the main goal of the Acquaintance Party wich is to be acquainted
with fellow TUPVians as well as the faculty and staffs so according to him, it is reasonable not to allow outsi-
ders during the activity.

Mr. Dayon said that the USG will prepare various activities in order for the students to mingle and en-
joy during the party. According to him, overnight stay at the Resort is optional and is no longer covered by the
USG, so it is the responsibility of the class mayors to coordinate with the Resort if their respective sections
would like to stay overnight.

He also said that parental waiver will be provided by the USG. This waiver, according to him will be
collected by the class mayors on July 29 upon arrival at the Resort and this will serve as gate pass for the stu-
dents. It was agreed that "No waiver, no entry". He said that parental waiver would be available on the following
