30 % of Peruvian teenagers suffer from stress.

A new survey shows that more than one million young people in Peru suffer from serious
levels of stress. About half of them are also depressed.

Teenagers worry about two things: relationships with other people (How do I make
friends? and school work. (Am I going to pass my exams?)

Teachers are reporting high levels of stress in students caused by exams. Students are
irritable and cause trouble in class.

Young people deal with problems in different ways.


Boys try to solve them alone. Girls depend on friends for help. They talk about their
difficulties with friends but sometimes this is not the best.
