Cast members of the hit MTV show Jersey Shore have been in Point Pleasant
Beach and Asbury Park in the past month with camera crews to film a Jersey Shore
reunion.
They were here for a couple hours and had dinner and played boardwalk games,
said Toby Wolf, director of marketing for Jenkinsons Boardwalk in Point Pleasant
Beach, where cast members, including Nicole Snooki Polizzi and Jenni JWoww
Farley, filmed on June 16.
The cast had a low-key dinner at Jenkinsons Pavilion Restaurant, Wolf said.
Farley Snapchatted a picture of the scene at Jenkinsons with the caption Were
back.
The shows producer, Los Angeles-based Bright Road Productions, applied for a
permit with Asbury Park to film on the boardwalk and beach area, according to city
officials.
Oh well, theyve been reading the paper and they know Asbury Park is the place
to be, said Asbury Park Mayor John Moor. No, we did not know they were coming as
they applied under Roadtrip Reunion.

NEWARK - A federal appeals court Friday af-
firmed the convictions of Lakewood Rabbi Mendel
Epstein and two other rabbis found guilty in a conspir-
acy to kidnap Orthodox Jewish husbands to force
them to grant their wives permission to divorce.
Epstein, 70, is serving a 10-year prison term im-
posed in 2015.
His conviction and that of two other rabbis, Jay

Sandy contractor told to stay in jail

TOMS RIVER - A former residential contractor ac-
cused of bilking nearly 35 local homeowners of $1.5
million was ordered by a judge to remain in the Ocean
County Jail after he spent six months as a fugitive
crisscrossing numerous southern states.
Named in an 18-count indictment, Jamie Lynn Law-
son, 42, was told Friday by Ocean County Superior
Court Judge Wendel E. Daniels that he would remain
in custody.
Lawson faces charges of theft by deception and
fraud related to his work as a home improvement con-
tractor. He was recently extradited back to New Jer-
sey after he was arrested in South Carolina by U.S.
