It was with great pleasure that Catalyst joined the Australian Institute
of Company Directors to bring long-standing business friend, Mr
David Murray, Chairman of Australias Future Fund and former CEO
of the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, to speak at our luncheon
event.

David Murray, as Chairman of Australias Future Fund had the


objective to invest its $64 billion assets. He was also the Chairman of
the International Forum of Sovereign Wealth Funds, and Chaired the
Drafting Group for the International Working Group of Sovereign
Wealth Funds. This Group represents 23 countries with sovereign
wealth funds.

Catalyst first had the honour of working with David Murray in the
mid-1990s, when he was CEO of the Commonwealth Bank of
Australia. He held this position from 1992 until 2005, during which
time he transformed the bank from a partly privatised bank with a
market capitalisation of $6 billion, to an integrated financial services
company, with capitalisation increasing by $80 billion. Catalyst
regularly undertook projects for the CBA during this time.

financed and built the well-known 200-mile Suez Mediterranean
(SUMED) Pipeline in Egypt.

Saudi Arabian Methanol Project - Netoil conceived and financed the


Itochu-Mitsubishi Heavy Industries chemical methanol plant project, the
largest in the world, in Jubail, Saudi Arabia.

Floating LNG, Gulf of Oman - Netoil is in the construction phase of a


large seaborne floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) project in the Gulf
of Oman that will transform natural gas purchased in Oman into LNG,
for export.

Petrodesigns, Inc an affiliate of Netoil., works worldwide on the development


and standardisation of integrated oil and gas industry engineering design
programs. Supplying consulting and project management services for clients
