have occurred in the department of the police for the nation for the last twenty years. This is the
period after the fight that was laid against Rodney King. In order to provide a good answer to
this particular question, the authors of this book conduct an investigation through the use of the
report provided by the National Police Misconduct Statistics. They therefore use the findings
here to come up with their conclusion. Most of these statistics are all reliable and much accurate.
The narratives used in this book have also provided a better understanding of this whole concept
of police and race.
In a great extent, these stories were true and very much accurate since they were real life
cases. The data that is found in this article also originates from well well-defined and accurate
reasons. It provided for these perceptions as they pertain to the low enforcement sector of
America. They are seen as contempt of enforcing the law. They also lead to suspicion when
enforcing the law and are also great agents of brutality in that department. These entire
conclusions are accurate according to this article. The qualitative data also provide a more

Evaluation of Sources 3

On the sides of the objectivity, the article has done a very good effort by ensuring that the
perception of the police by the public is well realized. They have also done a very conclusive
part in determining how the issues of racism and race have tried to shape the department of
police as a whole. In order to ensure that the question is fully answered, the authors of this book
have decided to use stories that were provided by the contributors of this article. Another
objective that this article tried to address was the rate at which police in America had turned out
to be brutal. They also wanted to get a better understanding of how the black men who were
living in America were going to be affected by these perceptions. They were able to find that the
fatalities that were found at the hands of the police were far much from that which the at the
hands of the normal civilians who belonged to the general public.

(2016). Exposure to violence during Ferguson protests: mental health effects for law
enforcement and community members. Journal of traumatic stress, 29(4), 283-292.

Objectivity
The main objective of this article is to examine if there is any proximity relationship between the
mental aspect of health and violence that is witnessed in various communities. This is mainly to
do with those in police and the ones who are the members of the community. The other objective
for this is the fact that the aspects of violence connectedness proximity must be fully assessed by
the article. They were also concerned with the issue of fear of being exposed and direct exposure.
They must also protect people from being exposed by the media and fully react to whatever the
media will assert at the end of the story.
The outcomes of these objectives were that it was determined that most of the violence
proximity was associated with the outcomes of the health of someones mindset. That was in
relation to all aspects except the issue of being directly exposed. There was also no instance of
moderation that would be evident between the police and the members of the community. The
only thing that would moderate this relationship was the race. This was the relationship that
linked the negative outcomes to various outcomes of life. The only people who were related to
interrupts were the whites and their distress. The black members of the community were not
associated with this feeling even a single day.

Accuracy
In order to come up with the most appropriate and accurate information, the whole article
has gone an extra mile to picking exactly 565 grown-ups. This population consisted of 304
people who were members of the community and the remaining numbers were represented by
the police. Most of this population had been exposed to violence that took place in Ferguson.
This figure was to provide very clear measures of the post traumatic feeling of being stressed up.
It would also prove that there are some approximations related to violence, anger and depression.
For this data to be accurately achieved there is need for a very comprehensive model. This means
that the most appropriate model is the structural equation. This led for various mathematical
calculations that led to this advancement.
