- Team member of the Master plan studies and general policies for Water supply, Waste water
collection and Surface water management.
- Analyzing, planning, design, construction, maintenance and rehabilitation of Jericho water
supply, including source development, treatment, storage and distribution.
- Preparation of Development studies, Tender documents for Water & Wastewater networks
including primary and advanced Treatment systems.

Job description:
Water & Sanitation Engineer

Main Tasks:

- Locates viable water sources and abstraction points including surface (river, lake, steams)
and ground water sources (wells, boreholes, infiltration galleries).
- Supervises drilling of wells and boreholes and construction of surface and subsurface water
intakes. Pumps and plants Installs, maintains, water supply systems, water treatment plants,
water storage facilities, pumps, plants and controls panels of and other allied equipment.
- Installs, maintains, septic systems, sewerage network, sewage treatment plant, pumps,
plants and controls panels of and other allied equipment.
- Coordinates scheduled maintenance on all the installations and equipment related to above.
Performs emergency works and repairs of all above. Monitors the performance of water
and waste water equipment and infrastructure in the field including boreholes, pumps, main
supply, storage tanks, distribution networks and sewage systems.

Quality control/laboratory

- Performs daily chemical and bacteriological analysis of water and treated wastewater
effluent. Plumbing and sanitation
- Supervises works related to the installation and maintenance of sanitation facilities such as:
ablution units, field toilets, kitchen, and laundries.

General

- Supervises assigned staff.


- Monitors and ensures adequate stock levels of spare parts for water supply and sewerage

periodic requirement of same well in advance for the purpose of raising requisitions.

- Provides field based input for preparation of scope of works for water and waste water

The Project will serve ALITIHAD Villages municipality, three villages located to the North
West of Ramallah Governorate namely Jammala, Deir Ammar and Beitelo. The Proposed
:Water Supply System consists of the following

- Design of three Elevated water Reservoirs each of 500 CM.


- Design of the Main Transmission Pipelines
- Design of the Internal Water Networks with various diameters and lengths for each
village.
Designing the Water Supply System for N.E Jenin Villages ( Deir Abu Dief,
Faqoaa, Arbone and Jalbun) North East of Jenin governorate.

The scope of the NE Jenin Project includes Potable water conveyance,
