 MY JOURNEY
(Introduction)
I journeyed through the world, overland and overseas.
i was born where the sun never sets and never rises,
i was purged out where the heat became my second skin.
i went through thick and thin, and then, i became an African
prince.
He took my pain, my sorrows and all my sins, Even when i
became a salve to my iniquities. i was trying to discover myself
without an identity, My story was written like a book, oh! what a
Genesis!
Although i went through this trials, but, i never ceased.
even when i sang at the choir, they called my predicament a
disease,
until i had an encounter with the King of kings, some years
back at the night of bliss.
the rain fought for me to be free, and i was free indeed.
how can i ever forget God's word, when they are planted on
my skin.
in this breath of life, God breathed to begin.
 I AM A GOD
I have a confession to make.....
and that confession is that.....
"I AM A GOD"
You might be thinking..., did he just say
that?
yes!, i did, and am unapologetic about it.
You see, long ago before creation was
created, only one thing was known...
"DIVINITY" and it will forever be known as
the 'HOLY TRINITY"
and after he was done creating the universe,
he saw that all was good
But, something was missing... MAN
then he went into deep thoughts, and after
his divine thoughts was put into place,
he said "Let us make MAN in our own
image" and man was made.
we became his perfect replica, we became
"like" him and not "lower" than him.
He never made "us" a demi-god or a junior-
god. No! he made us a God.
let me share my insight on the scripture,
(1Peter 2:9) "But you are a chosen people, a
royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people
belonging to God, that you may declare the
praises of him who called you out of
darkness into his marvelous light.(NIV)
look at the scripture below (left corner),
meditate on it until it sinks into your mind.
Now remove the "...you are.." and
personalize it into "...i am..."
also, let's take a look at (1John 4:17) "..... as
he is, so are we in this world...."
Understand this, Man wasn't created to
populate the earth, No!, we were created to
own it.
A sheep can only give birth to a sheep,
likewise a goat. A sheep can never give birth
to a goat neither can a goat give birth to a
sheep.
You are (i am) a chosen (special breed)
people.., you came out of God, you are not
"Christ-like", you are "Christ". You see,
Jesus Christ was the word "made flesh", but
you are the word "in flesh".
let me make use reference of tradition, the
Benin culture. The oba of Benin does not
walk like a king, he walks like a deity.
So, how much more you who has been
called into His (God) marvelous light!. you
see, there are some certain things i don't
pray for, not just because i am too
bragadocious, but, it's cos i can't see myself
praying that way. imagine, how can a "God"
pray for his wanting of shoes, clothes and
material things, it's not possible!
Understand this, you are a God, all thing's
are yours. He (God) has made all thing's
available to us, if only you would see far
beyond your natural sight!
In the beginning, there were "words". words
of God spoken script (John1:1). glory!, you
are a God, you can speak anything into
being...
"....Keep saying it, don't stop talking it...."

 TESTIMONY
Used to be just him, back in the
days...
living a dirty life, nowhere to call a
place.
until i had an encounter with the
"Miracle Rain"
my life became upward and forward,
flying like an airplane.
Now, i sure have a place to stay, God
has rescued me, He gave me a bed to
lay.
Oh! Holy is his name that took away
my pain, so my works won't be in vain
He ordained my footsteps, so i won't
go astray. Challenges comes to me,
giving wounds of cane, but then i
remembered his victory against
death, He has overcame
He made me an advantage, his
suffrage for me has given me a top
stage.
He packed away my sin, and gave me
a package full gift's.
A boy, who they said was from the
bin, now he's gracefully rich
i sing the "gospel" with words and
ink.
Like a lion from the jungle, my
pockets always jingle
my talent's, he beautify and kindled.
la creme, de la creme, i mingle with
princes and kings, my success
always dangle.
With him, i do not bother, cos my success is
without borders.
My life, he edifies.. Now, all i do is testify.
From a victim, he gave me a victory, from
disgrace to his grace, my spreading has
upgrade.
He sets me on a high pace, won all my race
and made the sky my viewing point
.
My leaves are evergreen, my splendor never
wear out, my fruit never runs out.
my roots is nourished, my branches
flourished, my leaves furnished and my fruits
are garnished!
.
My harvest is the fall, The Lord has given it all.
My produce is remarkable, my fruits
uncountable, my barks impenetrable, my stem
favorable.
The Lord has made me a waterfall, to water dry
grounds.
He has changed my ordinary ability into
extraordinary opportunities.
Now!, i don't care if what i said is a poem or a
rhyme, I will always be a success till the end of
 GIFTED HANDS
(After a stressful day at the studio, i
decided to visit the mall. on my way to the
mall, i met a longtime friend who admired
the way i dance sometime ago and we
had a brief conversation. Below are the
conversations we had)
John: what's up dude?
Ravhin: it's me, am so way up!
John: (laughed hard) yo! man, you still so
funny as always.
Ravhin: That's Ravhin for you!
John: i heard you are now into poetry,
ummm spoken word
Ravhin: yeah!
John: do you still dance, i mean krump?
Ravhin: sure!, i still do
John: hmmm, do you still flow with
pencils, i mean draw?
Ravhin: (gave a funny laugh) yeah! i still
do, why the questions?
John: nothing really, thought you gave up
on them cos of poetry, spoken word or
what do you call it?
Ravhin: (smiled)
(BOOM!!! that got me...i mean it brought
smile into my face,and i asked the friend
this:)
How many times have you searched
yourself?,
wait!, am not asking you how many times
you have given in into sin, neither am i
asking you how many times you've had
beautiful dreams.
Am asking you, how many times have you
open up yourself like a book, searching
thoroughly, finding deeply and meditating
firmly.
You see, philosophically we were made to
believe that we were born with just one
talent but we acquire so many skills. But i
want you to go through this scripture
(Phillipians 4:13) which says "I can do all
things through him (Christ) who
strengthens me". Meditate on it, unveil its
secrets, drill deeply in its mysteries and
reveal its insights.
I write to you, let us start to pick up, and
groom up our talents and skills instead of
judging one another, throwing stones.
Let's start to hurl rocks of beautiful talent
and skills, using it for the gospel of
Christ, instead of putting fear into one
another, creating blows.
Let us start to open up our eyes to see
what we have and what we can do,
instead of keeping them closed and
overlook the spec in another's eyes, so
we can attend to the plank of our own.
Me, being a poet doesn't mean i don't
dance or sketch. I am still ME!..
Remember, i can do all thing through
Christ who energizes me. Am full of
talents, and am rich in skills!.
 ATTITUDE
INSIGHTS ON THE SCRIPTURE
(Proverbs 23:7)
I have come to understand that
"what lies behind us and what lies
before us are tiny matters compared
to what lies within us".
You see, attitude defines us..who we
are,what we do, who we look up to,
how we think and what we will
become.
In the middle of difficulties, lies
opportunities, challenges begat
success. What are your attitude
when facing your worst nightmares,
your deepest fears?.
"In other for you to change the world
you see around you, you must first
change the way you see within you".
Remember, your attitude determines
your your action, and your
determines your accomplishment.
Within the two decades of my life, i
have learnt that a successful man is
one who can lay a firm foundation,
with bricks others have thrown at
him.
"Trust me, i have gone through
worse, (as the world says), but, with
the "worse", what have you done
with it?.
I write to you today, life's battles
don't always go to the stronger or
faster, but sooner or later, the man
who wins is the man who think he
can (The Power Of Your Mind).
Attitude is power, it is the reflection
of our true selves, its roots are
inwards but its fruits are outward.
Attitude is our bestfriend and can be
our worst enemy, it is more honest
and more consistent to our words. It
is a future outlook based on past
experiences, it draws people and
also repels them.
Attitude is never consistent until it is
expressed. It is the librarian of our
past, the speaker of our present and
the prophet of our future!. I hope i
didn't just preach to you and i also
hope you meditate on this words
and improve your attitude.
"You might criticize my words,
embrace it, enjoy it, or put it on
repeat. But, whatever you sow, you
are going to reap it...". Think on this
things!!!
 THE HOLYSPIRIT
Who is the Holyspirit?
Wondering wonders in my thoughts
about who the Holyspirit is, searched
around overland and overseas. And
finally i got a vision of the Holyspirit with
a soothing ease.
The Holy spirit is God all by himself. He
is the sure home for days to come, The
Holysprit is closer than our breath, more
intimate than our thought.
The Holyspirit is right here in our days
both dark and sunny, he reside in our
body and thoughts every morning.
He is the comforter, making our days go
smooth and easy without any stains in
pieces. He is right there with us through
happy and sad, always keeping an eye
on us during reality great days and bad.
The Holyspirit in you is a never ending
hope of glory, filling our mind and
thoughts with bright memories.
He is our strengthener, holding and
handling us with care; giving us the
strength to face obstacles and
challenges when life wave come rushing.
The Holyspirit is the sun on the edge of a
stormy sea, He is the diamond glints on
the morning dew, He is the knght in
shinning and glory filled armor.
He is our advocate; when the devil
comes with allegations, he stands on our
behalf nullifying all judgement and cases
with His objections.
IThe Holyspirit is the way, when all hope
seems dark, he sees you when you feel
down; when trials and temptations creeps
into your mind, he quenches it with an
immunitifying spark.
He is our helper; liffing you off your feet
and begins to fly away all grief, sorrows
and pains to tell your mind that it's free
again.
The Holyspirit is our counselor; tempering
our faith with lots of meekness, helping us
serve with true humbleness
The Holyspirit is our piety, a deity of
sanctity; who is crowned and endowed with
glorious royalty and purity.
He is our intercessor; he makes us escape
the ruin and roar of the devil with his divine
intercession with the Father.
This is the time, this is the hour, the
Holyspirit is our power!.
He is our standby; our might, saving us
from the face of the devil's plight.
He is the third tier of the Holy Trinity,
sparking more than electricity against
satanic device of insanity.
The Holyspirit is here, in us, through us, we
carry his force without a loss and therefore
we can never be lost!.
