With reference to your job announcement of Head of Mission in Syria, I would like to be considered for this job

I am an organizational development and management professional providing services to a range of stakeholders and
clients. I have specialism working in development and relief fields. I specialize in organizational and sectoral
development through enhancing capacities in the areas of economic development, management, program & project
coordination and operational excellence. And, I have strong working and coordination experience with; UN agencies,
Donors Institutions, Government Agencies, INGOs, Private Sector, NGOs, World Bank Group and Local Partners at HQ
offices. In addition, I have coordinated and managed projects/programs on behalf of USAID, USDA, EU, EC, AusAID,
UNDP, UNRWA and DFID. Thus, I have been experienced managing grants through the implementation of all
administrative tasks required to handle the money, reporting, and program implementation in a way that meets
generally accepted standards as well as the requirements of the funding source. Also, I used to make sure that the act
adhering to and demonstrating adherence to, a standard or regulation are taking place within the projects. I have
directed programs effectiveness - providing leadership, business and partnership development, governance,
relationship & coordination management, operations management including finance and administrative,
contractual/grants management, and have contributed to the development and implementation of organizational
strategies, policies and practices when compliance used to be the soul of the work I have done so far.

I have in-depth knowledge and experience in working in supporting HQ offices in overseeing all managerial functions
for the field offices running different large scale programs and projects. As you will see from my CV, I have Strong
knowledge and experience working in MENA region and North America, this includes; social, political and economic
contexts. Besides, I have wide and vary experience in many sectors with main focusing in civil society development.
This includes Leading and overseeing large scale programs in complex areas at national level. Also, experiences
working in development, early recovery and relief fields in the thematic areas of; Economics, Education, Infrastructure,
Health, Agriculture, Womens Empowerment, Youth Support, and Leadership programs.

Also, I have strong experience of managing development and relief of donor-funded projects, including projects for
many institutions in the thematic areas of agriculture, poverty-reduction, education, health, governance, democracy,
conflict transformation and the integration of gender, justice and peace issues. I have been involved in mainstreaming
these thematic areas into Economic Development, Emergency, Relief, and Early Recovery programs. With high-level
expertise in programs coordination and management, I have extensive experience of results-based management,
monitoring and evaluation. Moreover, I have the ability to create and manage complex budgets according to donors
circulars and agreement rules, motivate, guide and provide hands-on support to field staff, create and manage
administrative processes and to coach and guide subordinate(s). I have strong communication skills (verbal, written,
listening) with fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic languages skills. In addition, I have cross-cultural
understanding and fluency; am a team player, am tactful and diplomatic; able to build and maintain trustworthy and
productive relationships.
