ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research were to identify whether: (1)the use of Cisco
Packet Tracer simulator with TGT learning model can improve the students
learning outcomes on base networking, (2) the use of Cisco Packet Tracer
simulator with TGT learning model can improve the students activeness on base
networking.
This research type was classroom action research. This research was
conducted in 2 cycles, within each cycle consisted of planning, action,
observation, and reflection from April until May 2016. The subject of this
research was grade X TKJ 1 in SMK Negeri 1 Banyudono in the school year of
2015/2016 which the students amount was 33. The data collection techniques
were observation, tests, interview, and documentation. The data validation were
using the triangulation technique. The qualitative data were analyzed by using
critical analysis which consisted of reduction, presentation, verification, and
conclusion, then the quantitative data were analyzed by using comparative
descriptive statistics.
The results showed that the implementation of Cisco Packet Tracer
simulator with TGT learning model can improve the students learning outcomes
on base networking. The increase of students cognitive learning outcome
percentage before the action was 24,24%, in cycle I was 60,61%, and cycle II was
75,76%. The increase of students affective learning outcome percentage before
the action was 51,52%, in cycle I was 75,76%, and cycle II was 87,88%. The
increase of students psychomotor learning outcome percentage before the action
was 24,24%, in cycle I was 72,73%, and cycle II was 84,85%. The implementation
of Cisco Packet Tracer simulator with TGT learning model can improve the
students activeness on base networking. The increase of classroom activeness
before the action was 33,94%, in cycle I was 68,48%, and cycle II was 77,58%.
Based on the result, can be concluded that the implementation of Cisco Packet
Tracer simulator with TGT learning model can improve the X TKJ 1 students
learning outcome and activeness in SMK Negeri 1 Banyudono in the school year
of 2015/2016.

dengan judul PENERAPAN SIMULATOR CISCO PACKET TRACER
DENGAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN TEAMS GAMES TOURNAMENT
UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR DAN KEAKTIFAN
JARINGAN DASAR KELAS X TKJ SMK NEGERI 1 BANYUDONO.
Skripsi ini disusun untuk memenuhi persyaratan mendapatkan gelar Sarjana
pada Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Informatika dan Komputer, Fakultas
Kegururuan dan Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta. Peneliti
