I. INTRODUCTION
The region with a seismic intensity above 8 (including
8) is called the high intensity earthquake zone. Due to the
large seismic effect, making the requirements of energy
dissipation capacity, reason- able layout of the structure,
design parameters of component are more stringent. In the
design of high- rise structure, in order to ensure the structural
safety of the lateral resistant system, gradually formed super
high-rise structure system such as frame-tube, frame-core Figure 1. Structure lateral force Figure 2. Structure model
tube, tube in tube and undled tube.
In the structural design of super high-rise, structure
system not only have an important influence on the security
and economic of the structure, but also have a significant
impact on the use function and space form of the structure.
This paper analyzes the dynamic elastoplastic of a super
high-rise building based on the rare earthquake, to verify the
reliable of the super high-rise building.
II. PROJECT OVERVIEW
The project is located at an earthquake zone with 8
degrees and 0.20g, the height of the structure is 528m Figure 3. Resistance system

III. ESTABLISH THE STRUCTURAL MODEL
The ABAQUS software is used to analysis the dynamic
elastic-plastic time history. The structure units used in the
modeling process.
Trapezium or triangle cut integral shell unit: used to
simulate the shear wall of core tube, coupling beam and floor.
The reinforcement in shear walls and floor were simulated
by embedding steel.
IV. THE SEISMIC WAVE INPUT AND RESPONSE
SPECTRUM ANALYSIS
The seismic fortification intensity of project site is 8,
design basic seismic acceleration value of 0.2g, the first (a)Modal 1, T1=7.19s
seismic group, construction site category belongs to site,
characteristic period of 0.35s, buildings for seismic
fortification category B.
There are three seismic wave, including two natural
waves and an artificial wave, using the primary and
secondary direction input (X, Y direction in turn as the
directions of primary and secondary) as the input of the
dynamic elastoplastic analysis, three direction input peak
than followed by 1:0.85:0. 65(principal direction: secondary
directions: vertical), damping ratio is 4.5%.
The base shear of structure and the response spectrum for
each selected wave is showed in Table 1, the response
spectrum use 8 degrees 0.2g, the maximum horizontal
earthquake influence coefficient value 0.90, characteristic
period take 0.40s, damping ratio is 4.5%, regardless of (b) Modal 2, T2=7.16s
period reduction.
As can be seen from the results of the four groups of
wave, the minimum base shear of X major direction is 80%
of the response spectrum method, the minimum base shear
of Y major direction is 79% of the response spectrum
method, the average base shear of X major direction is 83%
of the response spectrum method, the average base shear of
Y major direction is 86% of the response spectrum method.
The chosen seismic wave conforms to the requirements of
the specification.

reaction as the final analysis data. The analysis results show (1) The overall seismic performance of the structure is
that the shear wall is almost in plastic stage, especially in the good, the outer giant frame tube and steel plate -concrete

inner tube has good resistance to lateral force effectiveness,
under six kinds of working conditions, the largest interlayer
displacement angle is 1/101, less than 1/100 of the limit
stipulated in the codes. The maximum displacement between
floors and interlayer displacement angle are near the top of
the structure.
(2) The outer frame tube keep elastic, some parts appear
plastic deformation. The outer frame tube component form
the hinge mechanism under rare earthquake, which is accord
with the idea of buckling seismic engineering.
(3) Most of the shear wall injury lighter by compression,
for the steel plate at the top of the internal tube shear wall of
the structure , because of the influence of structure stiffness
mutation and WHIPL- ASH effect, wall damage apparently,
so that have very good energy dissipation effect.
