Abstrak. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan muatan keterampilan


proses sains pada buku teks yang digunakan siswa. Penelitian ini mengungkap
informasi mengenai ruang lingkup keterampilan proses pada buku teks yang
digunakan dan kesesuaian materi ajar dengan Kompetensi Dasar berdasarkan
Permendikbud 24 Tahun 2016. Analisis konten yang dilakukan menggunakan
pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan terdiri dari
penentuan sampel, pengumpulan data, analisis data, mendeskripsikan dan
penarikan kesimpulan. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah semua materi pada
buku ajar Kimia SMA kelas XI yang dianalisis. Adapun sampel pada penelitian
ini adalah beberapa halaman pada buku yang dianalisis, diambil pada materi
Termokimia. Buku ajar yang dianalisis sebanyak dua buku yang menggunakan
kurikulum 2013. Buku ajar yang dianalisis adalah buku ajar yang banyak
digunakan di tiga sekolah di Sambas, Kalimantan Barat. Data dikumpulkan
dengan lembar kategori yang berisi indikator-indikator keterampilan proses
sains yang kemudian diidentifikasi pada setiap buku. Hasil penelitian
menunjukkan bahwa indikator keterampilan proses sains yang paling banyak
muncul pada buku ajar yang dianalisis adalah mengamati dan yang paling
sedikit adalah berhipotesis.

Abstract. This study aimed to describe the content on the science process skills that which
used by students. The research purpose was to reveal information about the content of process
skills on textbooks that used and the suitability of teaching materials with students competence
based on Permendikbud No 24 Tahun 2016. Content analysis is performed using a qualitative
approach. The data analysis technique consists of sample determination, data collection, data
analysis, describing and drawing conclusions. The population in this study is all of the subject
matters in the Chemistry textbook of class XI Senior High School. The sample in this study is a
few pages on the book analyzed, taken as Thermochemistry. Thus textbooks using 2013
curriculum that are widely used in three school in Sambas, West Borneo were analyzed. Data
were collected by category sheet that contains indicators of science process skill, then
identified in each book. The result showed that science process skill which the most widely
appear in the textbook analyzed are making observation and the lowest was making hypothesis.

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan


pengembangan bahan ajar sains bermuatan keterampilan proses sains. Analisis
kebutuhan pengembangan bahan ajar bermuatan keterampilan proses sains
perlu dilakukan karena karena buku teks merupakan acuan pengajaran guru di
dalam kelas. Subyek penelitian adalah tiga sekolah dengan tingkat tinggi,
sedang, dan rendah. Analisis kebutuhan yang dilakukan menggunakan
pendekatan kualitatif, dari segi kebutuhan dalam pembelajaran di kelas dan
muatan keterampilan proses pada bahan ajar. Teknik analisis data yang
dilakukan terdiri dari penentuan sampel, pengumpulan data, analisis data,
mendeskripsikan dan menarik kesimpulan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan
dengan wawancara dan angket yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil
menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 73,3 persen siswa menyakini buku yang
digunakan dalam pembelajaran belum melatihkan keterampilan proses sains,
sebanyak 80 persen siswa menyakini bahwa mereka memerlukan bahan ajar
berupa modul kimia berbasis inkuiri untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses
sains.

Abstract. This study aims to analyze the need of development needs of science resources filled
with science skill process. Requirement analysis of the development of teaching materials with
the skill of the process of science needs to be done because the textbook is the reference a
teacher to teach in the class. The subjects of the study were three schools with a high level,
medium, and low. Needs analysis conducted using qualitative approach, in terms of needs in
classroom learning and content of process skill on teaching materials. Data analysis techniques
that consist of sample determination, data collection, data analysis, describing and drawing
conclusions. The data were collected through interviews and questionnaires were analyzed
descriptively. The results showed that as many as 73.3 percent of students believe the book
used in learning has not yet trained the science process skills. As many as 80 percent of
students believe they need instructional materials in the form of inquiry-based chemistry
modules to improve science process skill.
