The digital weather-proof outdoor (harsh environment) intercom station of the DA/DAE 7x5 series for the
INTRON-D plus communication and public address system from INDUSTRONIC is used in extreme environments
as typically found in the Oil & Gas and the Chemical & Pharmaceutical sector as well as in the Steel industry. The
rugged design allows for clear and reliable communication at any time, whether you operate the intercom station in
extreme cold or heat or in dirty and dusty environments.
The robust two-part housing is made of glass-fiber reinforced polyester. The compact interior is equipped with a horn
speaker that ensures highest intelligibility even in high ambient noise areas and a noise-compensating microphone
with dynamic compression. Use the protective label to display the call number or the location of the intercom station
in the plant.

User Controls
The different modular user controls allow for customization according to customer and project-specific needs at any
time. The housing can be configured with one dial keypad combined with momentary rocker switches or membrane
keypads. But you also have the option to use up to three momentary rocker switches, or up to three membrane
keypads with 9 keys each. Just as you like.

Flexible and Easily Expandable
For complex communication needs, the series can be expanded by up to 5 modular expansion housings of the
DAZ 005 type, each allowing for the implementation of up to 6 programmable momentary rocker switches, giving the
customer the utmost in customization.
The intercom stations of the DA/DAE series can be expanded by various external components. An optional
25-W booster amplifier installed in the intercom housing enables the use of an external speaker. Based on project
or specification needs, you can connect a flashing warning beacon and/or a foot switch. Furthermore, you can either
connect a headset, a handset, or a hand-held microphone.

Multi-faceted Mounting Options and Robust Mechanical Accessories
To make best use of your intercom station, you can mount it to steel I-beams or to internal and external walls. Using
the mounting brackets available in the 1 AMW 05 mounting kit, you can easily mount and ideally align it.
In areas, where you cannot directly mount the intercom station to a wall (e.g. for gates or entrance areas), a
free-standing mounting post that is bolted to the ground can be supplied. If required, you can also mount additional
acoustic or visual signaling devices to it.
In high ambient noise areas, acoustic hoods provide adequate noise insulation to ensure clear communication at
any time.

The digital desktop intercom stations of the DT 705 series are operated together with the INTRON-D plus
communication and public address system from INDUSTRONIC. They are designed for use in control rooms.
Modular membrane keypads with up to 112 keys can be integrated in one device including the corresponding
labeling fields and LEDs for signaling. For applications which are subject to increased mechanical stress you can
use up to 70 momentary switches. The intercom station is continuously monitored. The microphone is monitored
according to the DIN EN 60849 standard.

The digital linecard 12 DDL 02 is an essential part of the INDUSTRONIC communication and public address system
with digital interfaces. It serves as interface between the digital intercom stations and the exchange control board

The digital I/O board 8 DIO realizes the connection of the INDUSTRONIC communication and public address
system with digital interfaces to all kinds of analog systems and devices. There are two potentiometers at the
analog section to adjust the AF levels between two systems. One of them is for the input and the other for the
output.
Galvanic separation between the digital and analog side makes sure that there are no cross-flows between the two
systems. With the optional weatherproof housing the 8 DIO board may also be used outdoors.

The 6 ATI 01 analog telephone interface from INDUSTRONIC is used as an analog telephone access to connect an
INDUSTRONIC communication and public address system having digital interfaces with a telephone system (PABX).
The INDUSTRONIC system can be configured in such a way that the connection of an incoming call is immediately
established or that the call is assigned to one of six destinations/functions using DTMF suffix-dialing. An established
connection will be automatically terminated, as soon as the caller hangs up.
To connect the telephone interface to the INDUSTRONIC system, an analog interface is required (8 DIO or 12 DAL
from INDUSTRONIC).
