Prouds turns two in

PNG amid challenges
PORT MORESBY July 17, 2017. It has been an exciting and
challenging two-years for Prouds since the leading Fijian retailer and
duty-free outlet opened up for business at the Jacksons International
Airport in Papua New Guinea.
The stores which are featured prominently at the arrival and de-
parture areas of PNGs gateway to the world was officially opened by
Prime Minister Peter ONeill on Thursday, July 2, 2015.
The past 24-months has been very exciting and challenging for
us, Prouds PNG manager Kiran Rathod says.
The timing of our official opening in 2015 coincided with the
launching of the Pacific Games which PNG hosted and it was a really
great way to start business in the fastest growing pacific nation, Mr
Rathod added.
He says Prouds is well positioned to provide the best products and
shopping experience to travellers for now and for the future.

Our People Are Our Strength

Camari leads
Prouds Nadi
Camari Rusaqoli is no stranger to the travel retail and duty-free
trade in Fiji.
Having spent an exciting 19-years with Prouds Fijis leading
luxury retailer and pioneer duty-free operator, Camari who possesses
a very friendly personality has made thousands of friends in her long
and exiting career.
The Waiyavi, Lautoka native still carries a very vivid memory of
the year when she first started at Prouds Lautoka as a sales assistant.
It was 1998 when I joined Prouds Lautoka as a sales assistant
which was my first job and here I am 19-years on still working for
the same great company where I first started my career, Camari told
Inbox the official newsletter of Motibhai Group.
In 2010 I spent a month at the duty-free stores at Nadi Interna-
tional Airport before taking charge as manager of Prouds Sheraton,
she added.
Remaining on Denarau Island where Prouds has three stores, one
each at Sheraton Fiji, Westin Resort and Hilton Beach Resort, Camari
has managed all the respective stores and was managing the Hilton
store in her last posting before being appointed as manager of Prouds
Nadi last month.
I find this new role very challenging and exciting as the atmo-
sphere here is different from that in resorts whereby you mostly have
tourists, Camari said.
She said at Prouds Nadi, they attract a good mix of local and tourists
who love the great range of world-renowned brands.
I have a great team here and the department heads make work
much easier. I look forward to giving my best performance in this new Bula smiles... Camari Rusaqoli caught in a jovial mood with baby
