Dear Sir/ Madam,

I worked as Emergency Health Manager EMT London with Goal as a new initiative to strengthen
GOALs Health response in emergencies, building on recent work in the West Africa Ebola response,
Iraq emergency response, cholera in South Sudan and recognising more widely that there is a
significant gap in global health service provision for the most vulnerable. my past experience was as
a Country Director in Greece for the relief agency Human Appeal International (HAI), overseeing the
delivery of their refugee assistance programme on the island of Lesbos. We have established a
mobile medical clinic and food programmes for the refugee camps. Alongside this I have been
working in their Turkey office and coordinate their global medical relief programme.

Prior to joining HAI, they did not have any medical programmes at all in the region. Because of the
scale of the crisis in Syria we have focussed our attention there and last year we opened a large
women and childrens hospital in the country and delivered training programmes and supplies to
doctors in the country. I have also assisted with the delivery of HAIs regional WASH, training and
food programmes.

Before my current role at HAI, I worked with Relief International in their Turkey office,
predominantly on their medical programmes. I have also worked with British charity Hand in Hand
for Syria developing and delivering their medical relief programmes as a medical director.

I have committed myself to helping the victims of conflict, through both hands-on work seeing
patients, and at a more strategic level developing aid and Emergency programmes in Syria, Turkey,
Yemen, South Sudan and Greece. I have a wealth of experience from having done this for the last 10
years. My background is medical but I have good local knowledge of the Humanitarian field, fluency
in both Arabic, English and Russian, and a passion for relief work. I am known for being dedicated,
honest and hard-working. Together these have enabled me to develop successful and effective
medical and non-medical relief programmes for various agencies.

I am keen to take on a new challenge and develop my skills in relief work and look forward to
