The Abused Vatican?

An institution such as the Vatican, the center of the Roman Catholic Church, must be able to
rely on its worldwide sub-churches. But people do not always work with their true intentions to
be recognized at an early stage. Often, in the past, it was also a political question as to how
many people were admitted to the priesthood. But it is certainly a question of the respective
diocesan leadership and of the bishop standing at their head, whether someone is admitted to
the priest's office.

Now let us imagine the time after the Second World War. The time when Germany had largely
been destroyed, and not a few persons of military age were in prison or were killed as
soldiers.
There were, therefore, not too many male applicants at the disposal who could be ordained to
priests, and yet the Roman Catholic Church in Germany had no shortage.
Could one say that in Germany almost every male person was admitted to the priesthood,
who wanted to do this?
Could it also be said that the existing priests, neither on the part of the Allies nor on the part of
the church administrations, were examined, whether they represented the ideology of the
Nazis?
In any case, nothing is known to us that such audits had been carried out.
The reason for this is fairly simple.
Someone, as the politicians at that time thought, had to teach the Germans morality and
decency, as well as democratic behavior.
Whether the Roman Catholic Church in Germany could or could do this did not matter.
There was simply no one else. But there was an international treaty between the German
Reich Adolf Hitler and the Vatican. A treaty which continued to be valid through the
succession of the Federal Republic of Germany, and on the basis of which the Roman-
Catholic part of the church in Germany was supplied with princely care, especially at that time.
The Evangelical Lutheran Church in Germany also profited from this, and at the same time
represented the realization of religious freedom, which could never have been recognized by
the Roman Catholic Church. The Roman Catholic Church can not and can not tolerate any
other church beside itself, because of its self-understanding of being the "only true universal
church set up by God".

But without this concession, ultimately published with the Second Vatican Council, the
concordat between Hitler's Reich and the Vatican the concordat had to be terminated.
.Germany was still under Allied control. Who should have made the moral-social
consolidation?

As the history of the diocese of Regensburg, which was worked out by Mr. Robert Werner in
relation to the the bishops shows, bishops were taken over without any denazification.
Clergy who still prayed during the Nazi-Reich for the final victory of Adolf Hitler and blessed
arms, could continue as far as before.
For bishops, this could mean that they had above all, admitted persons to the priesthood who
shared their Nazi ideology.
The spiritual staff of the Roman Catholic Church in Germany was, besides not a few lawyers
and administrative officials taken from Nazi-Reich, the "intellectual elite" which Germany
administered for a long time.
Would anyone really have been ordained a priest, if he had opposed the Nazi views of his
bishop?
We dont think so.

In this way, both nationalsocialist persons could become priests, as did pedophile persons. It
was apparently only important that these were subject to the respective bishop.

Diocese of Regensburg - The Beginning of abuse

For the diocese of Regensburg, the beginning of physical as well as sexual abuse is attributed
to the time immediately after the end of the Second World War.
This is precisely the time when, in both the Roman Catholic Church in Germany and the
German civil society, there were enough people to regret an unsuccessful final victory.
The then Pope, who had previously worked as an apostolic nuncio in Munich and had
prepared the concordat, must have known how this church in Germany was ordered.
He should have carried out appropriate checks and to remove un suitable bishops and clerics.
He did not do this. Certainly also, in order not to endanger the continuation of the Concordat.

Thus, many things were opened, and in the diocese of Regensburg also for the abuse of
children and adolescents.

The reasons for concealing and covering up in Regensburg - The civil society

More than 60 years of abuse of pupils had taken place at Regensburger Domspatzen. This
happened through physical as well as sexual violence.
Several times in the past there would have been ways to prevent these things for the future,
but no one had done anything.
As far as physical violence is concerned and visible injuries are left behind, it still differs from
sexual violence.
At that time, corporal chastisement and blows were at least common in Germany and in the
government district of Upper Palatinate.
You must not forget that especially in this region Upper Palatinate thousands of prisoners of
war were exploited as forced laborers, in the concentration and extermination camp
Flossenbrg with outside camps far beyond the government district, thousands of people were
innocently "murdered by work".

That would not be the acts of foreign persons who had attacked Germany. This were the
Germans, who again formed the so-called "civil society" also in this government district.
Not only a few Catholic clergy - these were represented here in the majority - might well have
known who had been guilty, but had never been brought to justice.
This circumstance may have contributed to the fact that people who at least suspected of
child abuse were silent.
After the Second World War the clergy had earned money immediately, while the poor
population had to cope with the immigration of the former East German territories.

All these things may have contributed to the decades-long silence at least in the population.

The reasons for concealing and covering up in Regensburg - The clergymen

With regard to the silent priests and bishops, this matter is quite different to us.
The German partial church may not have had a particularly good reputation in the Vatican for
decades.
For a very long time in the Vatican could not have existed a higher office for german clerics.
How would the rest of the Catholic world population react to seeing a German as a pope in the
1970s or 1980s, a pope from the perpetrators?
The Vatican should not experience anything bad from the German part of the Church This
was the only way to ensure that the german part of the church
was not only the riched part of the church.

One might also hope to be able to make a pope at some time.

The Pope was there - the silence continued.

After the fact that around 2000 a German could once again - after 500 years - be expected to
become a Pope, the truth could be told to the Vatican.
This would have made things easier for the Vatican.
But here things should have been more important than ever before.
Once again, Germany could reach and expand the power in the world through the Roman
Catholic Church.

We think that this is exactly the problem that ultimately led to the First World War and the
Second World War. The hunger for power of the German elites, especially the nobility houses.
This is currently somewhat unobtrusive represented by the so-called "Knights of the Holy
Sepulcher in Jerusalem" (OESSH).
We also think that the abuse of Regensburgs Dom Choir could have had something to do with
the elite formation known by the national socialists.
